Given the gravity of how this could alter current events this particular part of her job is only used in emergency situations. Other than that she's also used to be first on a scene to assess and report the situation at hand. Then tracking and apprehending the suspect to bring them back to HQ.

Time Travel:
Imani is able to travel forwards and backwards in time up to 15 years. Though because of the toll it takes on her body and how fickle the Gift can often be she won't travel more than a week forwards or back unless she absolutely has to. Traveling back in time can have drastic changes on the world as we know it depending on what is done. While traveling forward in time is often not as reliable in the long run since things are able to be altered and changed.
Teleportation:
Imani is able to physically teleport anywhere in the world so long as she can vividly picture where it is she would like to go in her mind. She doesn't have to have ever been in that particular place before, but obviously that does help. She is also able to transport up to three people with her at a time as long as they are touching her when she teleports.

OVERALL APPEARANCE: Upon first look at Imani there are some things that clearly stand out. For one, she's a very tall and slender woman. She stands far above most other women and at eye height with many men. Her body is slender and lithe with a petite waist. The other thing that tends to make her stand out is her vitiligo, patches of her skin that have lost the melanin. Mostly around her knees, hands, and up her arms. They've also moved along other places like her ribs and hips but the most notable is around her mouth. For years this was something Imani was embarrassed and even ashamed of but as she got older she became more confident and proud of the way she looks. She tends to keep her hair long in varying different styles.
Imani has a very feminine style. She tends to wear a lot of dresses, skirts, and well fitted clothing. She also very much things like jewelry and makeup. She walks with her head high and shoulders back, oozing confidence and grace.

Perceptive: Imani pays far more attention than she seems to. She's keenly aware of her surroundings and loves to study people. She loves to listen, watch, and analyze. She's good at recognizing body language, patterns, and small changes that might fly over the head of another. This makes her better recognizing when people are lying.
Inquisitive: Imani is a naturally curious individual. She loves learning and discovering anything she can. Whether that's about people, places, events, she just loves to learn. She always wants to try new things, go new places, and meet knew people. She's very often one to ask many questions and is a very active listener. She especially loves when people go on tangents.
Loyal: Imani is fiercely loyal. Once her trust is gained she's an incredible ally to have on your side. Fully ready to go to war for the people she loves. She's not easily swayed by rumors, drama, or misinformation. She's loving and reliable, always willing to go above and beyond for the people that are special to her.

Stubborn: Heels dug in the dirt and fists clenched at her side Imani is an incredibly stubborn individual. She doesn't like being told that things are impossible. She doesn't like being told what she can and cannot do. Once her mind is set to something she's more than determined to get it done and only becomes more so the more she's told she can't.
Moody: Imani is known for being a rather emotional person. At what seems to be the drop of a hat she can go from being bright, happy, and chipper to cold, standoffish, and irritable. Though she tries to hide it Imani tends to feel things very intensely. Despite herself her emotions can tend to get away from her. Still, she has a tendency to bottle her emotions and keep them to herself.
Vengeful: As loving and loyal as Imani can be once her trust is broken or once she's been hurt she's known to hold a grudge. And holding that grudge makes her only more inclined to seek revenge. Or justice as she prefers to call it. Once Imani has been hurt by someone she makes it her personal goal to make their life a living hell. To break them down and make them regret ever even meeting her in the first place. She has a seething, cold, calculating anger that is ready to sit and wait. As stated before, she's a very patient woman. Which in the right context can be dangerous. But because her emotions are so intense this can lead her to causing more harm than necessary or that she meant.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Imani is a highly intelligent, sweet, and caring woman. She always loves learning new things about anything and everything. People, places, things she loves to listen and study. Because of this she's well known for being very observant and perceptive. Imani tends to catch on to small things that other people might not. Changes in tone, shifting of the eyes, slight fidgeting she even notices small things in her environment. While she's very friendly and kind Imani is still very introverted. Extensive social interaction can drain her very quickly and she prefers being alone or in small groups of people she cares about. Those that know Imani often note she can be rather moody. Her emotions shift fast enough to give someone whiplash. Though she tries to keep them under wraps and bottled to herself it's still usually clear when things change. She can go from being very sweet and happy to cold and irritable at seemingly the drop of a hat. She still prefers sorting out her feelings on her own though and can tend to be very guarded. There are few people in this world she trusts coming to when she needs emotional support.
For those few people she does care about Imani is deeply and fiercely loyal. She would go to the ends of the earth for her loved ones without a moments hesitation. She's always loving and supportive in any way she can be. Imani is an amazing listener who is always more than happy to offer a shoulder to cry on to a sound board to bounce ideas off or just vent to. She does find however, she's not great at giving advice. Still, she does try when asked. Though she might perhaps be too supportive in even her friends bad ideas. Whether that's keying a exes car or going to spray paint a building. She's not afraid of getting in a little bit of trouble. She loves hard and intensely. Pouring her full heart into everyone she cares about and everything she does. It can often be a bit too much for some people.
Though she's not known for having a bad temper when Imani has been hurt by someone she trusted she becomes wicked. That sweet, loving, caring woman becomes cold and vindictive. Because of how strongly she attaches to others and how much of herself she gives to them when that trust is broken it is just as equally intense for her. She will feel broken, angry, confused, hurt, and all that gets fueled into her anger. Imani will make it her personal goal to hurt them as badly as she felt they hurt her. But, blinded by her feelings, this can lead to her going a bit overboard sometimes. Though that's not generally something she regrets.

Imani was born the oldest child to a young happy couple in a mountainous region in France. She lived there pretty much her entire life. Growing up things were good for Imani. She was a generally happy child, if not known for being a bit dramatic. She was known for throwing intense tantrums when she felt things were unfair or when she was unhappy. But her parents were always patient and loving no matter what. She got along well with her younger siblings, especially her little sister. Imani loved having a sister. They played together all the time, dressed the same, even wound up sharing a room despite Sonya having one of her own. The girls were attached at the hip pretty much from the moment she was born. Their family didn't have much money but Imani's parents made sure their children never went without.
Her powers showed themselves for the first time when she was five. Imani really wanted to go to her grandmothers house but her parents had told her she had to wait until the weekend. Well, she didn't like that answer at all. Imani threw a fit. Screaming, crying, flailing on the floor. All she wanted to do was see her grandmother. She could so clearly envision her nice warm kitchen with the scent of fresh baked cookies and her little chicken decorations all over the room. When she opened her eyes, Imani was there. Laying on the cool linoleum floor of her grandmothers house. It was startling to say the least and caused a lot of panic in her family. Luckily her father was also able to teleport as well and quickly discovered just where his daughter had gone. After that things became a bit more finicky. Having an emotional child who was able to teleport at a moments notice could be difficult. But luckily her father having far more experience with the gift was able to keep up with her rather easily.
It was when she learned she was able to time travel that was the scariest. When she was nine and disappeared suddenly her parents weren't terribly concerned. Until they realized they couldn't figure out where she was. Her father looked for her in all the usual places but she was no where to be found. She returned two days later exhausted, bruised, starving, and deeply dehydrated. She'd traveled ten years into the past after looking at an old wedding photo of her parents. She had wound up lost and confused unsure of how to return home and with no one who knew who she was. This happened four other times and wasn't something anyone in her family could help her with. It was a new and terrifying ability that Imani had to learn to adapt to and control on her own. Especially as she noticed it began to alter things in her present. Some small while others were far more drastic changes.
When she was twenty two her mother became very ill. It took less than a year and all her family could do was watch her quickly deteriorate. Imani tried to find a way to help her. Tried to travel back to see if there was a way to stop it. She even went forward in time to see if there could be some kind of way to fix it in the future. Her own body took a major toll but there was nothing. She passed just a few days before her younger brothers birthday. And only five short years later her father followed suit. With her younger brother only being 16 when their parents passed Imani took him in to raise him herself. They moved to America and settled down in Los Eurosia. She joined the Sector when she moved as a way to protect other Gifteds from a world she knew wouldn't be able to accept them. And when her brother was nineteeen he moved out on his own.
