Because he's a big baby idiot overthinker, Luck decided that Nathaniel Collins's actual birthday day would feel too weighty/like too much pressure (plus, if he chickened out, then it'd end up being late). So he swung by Nate's work during his lunch break and dropped this off a week early, nonchalantly claiming "y'know, Mondays are always so unpredictable and busy, yadda yadda".

It's just an undecorated box and card (pictured above). Inside the box is an Aerogarden Harvest Elite. Scribbled in Sharpie on the inside lid of the box are the words: "IT DON'T BEAT DIRT, BUT—".

I was given one of these herb garden things at a wedding party (which is insane, I dunno if it was hasty regifting or what?? I didn't know what to do and just carried it around for an hour haha). It turned out pretty neat though. A dill plant just sprouted and I named it "Pickles". He's cute.
