--------------------------- Hi Ashley,
I've never been really great at writing emails but I saw your card at the vets office the other day and have been looking through the dogs you have available. I have a four and a half year old husky named Willow who I love to death but I really think she needs a friend to keep her company when I'm away at work. She's the sweetest angel you'll ever meet I promise but she's lost a lot of her confidence and gotten a lot more shy around other dogs since she lost one of her legs. She's also been suffering a lot of separation anxiety and I just really think having another dog around would be such a big help for her.
I was thinking of having her meet with either Omelette or Pretzel if you have either of them still available. I'm more than happy to give some more info on Willow if you need. Let me know if there's a time and place you're able to meet up and I'd love to have my babygirl make a new friend.

Hey, Ezekiel!
Emails can be rough, I get it. Do feel free to call or text if you prefer, my phone number is (555) 698-7349. But this is fine, too.
Willow sounds like a sweetheart, poor pup, it does sound like she'd benefit from a friend! How long ago did she lose her leg? And was it front or back? I've got a three-legged staffie-mix for adoption, too, so all my kids are accustomed to playing with the hop (haha). We could definitely set up a meeting to see how you (and more importantly, her) feel about Omelette and Pretzel! If you want more info about either of them upfront, just ask, I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
Eh... I'll go ahead with some upfronts regarding Omelette and his seizures. He does have the occasional episode but they're not that scary, honest. He is currently on a Phenobarbital routine. He requires dosing twice a day, so I would just wanna make sure you'd be able to keep that up? The pills themselves are pretty inexpensive but I take him to get blood work done quite frequently (which CAN run a lot) to make sure his levels aren't too high and make any necessary adjustments to his dosage. Does this sound like something your schedule/life/finances can accommodate?
Honestly, I'm pretty flexible. I work 6am-2pm Mon-Fri, so anytime outside of those hours works for me. Are you in Los Eurosia? My cards are everywhere, haha, so just wanna make sure. Do you think Willow would be comfortable enough in a dog park? We could always go outside of peak hours. Otherwise, we could meet anywhere you think she'd be most comfortable!
Thanks, Ashley

From: <ezzeke96@gmail.com> Date: Wed, October 8, 2023 at 3:35pm Subject: RE:Looking For Another Pup To: <contact@ashley-dogs.com> --------------------------- I'll definitely keep that in mind. It might be easier to actually just shoot you a text or call you to actually meet up. She lost one of her front legs about two years ago. She wound up slipping and falling down a cliff while we were hiking and luckily the leg was the only thing they had to take. But she hasn't really been herself since losing it. I would like to know more about Pretzel. I think Willow might be a little less intimidated by a dog smaller than her and I saw it said he also struggles with separation anxiety so that might be good for both of them. (Or awful for my furniture) Do you know how he does with rodents? That might be a weird question but I live with my brother and sister and my sister has two pet rats that she lets have free roam time sometimes. I just want to know if I'll have to keep Pretzel occupied out of the house or chill in my room during those times. When it comes to Omelette's seizures that's really no problem. I used to work in a center that had a lot of special needs dogs because no one would adopt them so I've dealt with a few that have seizures. And I own a business so I pretty much make my own schedule. No worries on him needing some extra time, care, or money here. How's Sunday work? Around 10am if that's not too early? There's this lake near a hiking trail I like to take Willow that she loves. I could text you the address and we could meet up at the entrance then walk there? It's not that far if you're not big on nature. My siblings and I live in los Eurosia in The Heights. 1 Attachment • Scanned by Gmail -Ezekiel Donnavan
