Plot Idea and Character Wanted!

So I've had this idea in my head for Naomi for a little while now and I figured if I'd see if anyone would be interested in it! Before Naomi became, well Naomi, her name was Daniela Yanet Hernandez. She was the oldest daughter of a very large family. A family that were activists in making Gifted people public and accepted into normal life (Blackstorm members possibly? Or just another pro Gifted activist group). Daniela herself wasn't directly involved in it but she knew what her parents and some of her siblings were doing and supported them. Other than that she had a fairly normal life. She had a partner, was going to college, an apartment with her partner, things were good! The last time she saw her partner Daniela told them that she had a family emergency back in Cuba and needed to fly to see them for a few days. Her partner couldn't come but they were both under the assumption that Daniela wouldn't be away more than a week. Not long after she left Daniela dropped off the face of the earth. The emergency she thought she was going home to was a set up and every single person in her family was murdered by Hunters. Someone from the Sector found Daniela in the hospital after the incident and told her how in danger she was. That she could lose her life and the lives of everyone she loved.

So Daniela went into hiding and became Naomi. She never got a chance to tell her partner where she was going or goodbye. The last time they saw each other was the day she left for Cuba. There's been times she's wanted to call them. Wanted to travel back to Alaska just to see if she can find them again but she doesn't want to endanger them like that. Especially with her now working for the Sector. For all intents and purposes, Daniela Hernandez died in the hospital. Which is where hopefully someone else comes in!

I purposefully left the name, gender, age, and appearance for Naomi's old fiance vague in case anyone wanted to take up the idea. I do have a slight preference for the character to be a woman but Naomi is pansexual so feel free to make them however you like! They have not seen Daniela in 5 years now but have moved from Alaska to California. Naomi hasn't seriously dated anyone in all these years because it still feels like cheating to her since she never actually broke up with her fiance. Though she also understands they probably didn't wait for her all this time. There's a slightly selfish part in her that hopes they did though. Did her fiance get news that Daniela was killed? Did they go to Cuba looking for her only to find a headstone with Daniela's name on it? Were they left completely in the dark only to wonder what the hell happened to their fiance?

The idea is that Naomi winds up bumping into her old fiance again and is left stunned. Happy, hopeful, terrified, sad, confused and more terrified when they start referring to her as Daniela again. How would her fiance react? Confused? Angry? Happy? Did her fiance in fact move on? Would it be possible for them to rekindle their relationship or is that far too broken now? Could they even be friends again? That's the idea!
