Tag: None Sasha's stomach rumbled as he sniffed around the dumpsters, searching for any trace of old food thrown out by the restaurants of the area. This wasn't his territory - far from it - but his current home's dumpsters were picked clean. He would much rather trespass on others' territories to find food, even if it was risky.
This particular area seemed to belong to a particularly grouchy stray cat. Although it hadn't tried to attack Sasha, it had given him a foul-tempered hiss that translated into something Sasha didn't care to repeat before stalking off. Sasha ignored the temper. Other strays rarely took well to trespassers, and it was only him being bigger in his dog form that prevented the other cat from wanting to risk a fight. It wasn't worth risking injury over.
Shaking the thoughts away, Sasha sniffed around the metal trash can near to one of the dumpsters. Bingo. Rearing onto his hind paws he sent the can toppling over, ignoring the loud clatter as it hit the pavement. It was the evening, when the restaurant was usually busy - too busy to hear or deal with a stray dog hanging around. Hungrily growling, Sasha stuck his head into the trash, using his front paws to unbury scraps of food for him to devour. |
