POWERS:
Forcefield Generation: Emery is able to summon a forcefield centered from herself to, usually, a thirty foot radius around her. If she really pushes herself though she can push the field up to fifty feet but this force field will be weaker and harder for her to keep up. The shorter the distance the field is from herself the stronger it is. She will often use this ability to form specifically around the outline of her body so she can not be hurt, or even just because she forgot her umbrella during a rainy day. The forcefields are resistant to any forms of attack against them but will weaken over time the more they're hit. The forcefield itself is invisible to the naked eye but if touched will have a faint purple glow around the object touching it.
Healing: Emery is able to heal both herself and others. Cuts, slashes, burns, broken bones, you name it. The more grievous the injury the longer it will take her to heal. She's also able to reverse the effects of someone who has gone deaf or blind due to an injury if it's brought to her quickly enough. However, she can't change or fix something a person was born with.

OVERALL APPEARANCE: Emery has always held an air of confidence about themselves. She has an infectious smile, amber brown eyes, and dark brown hair that can appear almost black in certain lighting. At 5'6" they're fairly average height, perhaps slightly above in certain groups. Though they do enjoy wearing heels or platforms which can make them appear taller. Emery's style tends to lean more towards a comfortable boho or "hippie"-esque fashion sense though their color choices vary differently by the day. While one day she might be seen in a handmade top, a flowy skirt, and flower crown the next they could be seen more in all black with dark makeup. Emery has a few scars littering her body from various things. Some as simple as a nasty bike accident when she was twelve and others she would prefer never to talk to think about again. There is also a tattoo on her left hip that matches the one she shares with her two brothers.

STRENGTHS:
Confident: Emery has always had this sort of confidence about her that is palpable. Always so sure in everything she does or always eager to learn. From the way they look and hold themself to the way they speak. Emery seems to always have a handle on things. She's often unconcerned with others opinions on who she is or how she presents herself.
Courageous: Emery isn't every afraid to step up in a tense situation. Whether that's defending someone else or making a decision that seems too difficult for others. They're willing to throw themselves in the line of fire and unafraid of being burned. Emery is always quick to defend those in need or make calls that others won't. They're there to offer support for their loved ones and seem happy to face fallout if it means someone she cares about won't.
Loving: Emery is often referred to as the "Mom Friend". Whatever it is you need, she's got it. They often keep spare jackets or clothes in their van for both themselves and others. They're known to always be a shoulder to cry on or able to make a strong drink to drown out your sorrows. Emery is known for being nonjudgmental which tends to make others open up to her more often. While the advice she gives might be considered "extreme" she is always there to listen to someone vent or rant. She's often known for putting the needs of others before her own.
WEAKNESSES:
Violent: Emery has a tendency to jump to fighting or violence as a first measure for...well most things. Your boyfriend dumped you? Let's go set his car on fire. Someone said your outfit was trash? Point them out, I just wanna talk. That dude cut in front of you in line? Let's see how much he enjoys being cut. It often takes a more level headed person to talk Emery down.
Anarchist: Emery has always had issues with authority. Whether that's police or just a strict boss. She will often act out simply to spite rules and regulations put against her. They don't enjoy being told what to do and will often violently fight against it at every turn. Even so much as being told to do the dishes can cause an aggressive response.
Reckless: While Emery cares very much about the lives and safety of her brothers and friends she seems to care very little, if at all, about herself. Emery is known for laughing in the face of danger. They seem far too excited to jump at the first opportunity for the next thrill or adventure. Wild and restless, sitting idle for too long is the quickest way to start stirring up the worst ideas for how to cause trouble. Boredom is the father of all vices after all.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Raw, unfiltered, and - more importantly - genuine Emery is a spitfire of a young woman. She is a bar brawl in the middle of the night. She is dancing naked under the full moon. She is wild, loud, untamed laughter. She is a warm hug and a shoulder to cry on. What you see with Emery is what you get as they are nothing if not wholly honest and unashamed of who they are. Whether that is a loving, nurturing hand after a hard day. Or a molotov thrown through a window. They are not known for hiding their feelings or their beliefs. Refusing to make themselves smaller or lesser to be more palatable to others. Emery believes if she is too much for you, go find less.
Emery can be chaotic and reckless but at the end of the day they are one of the most loving and sincere people you will ever meet. She will always show up for the people she loves. Always throw herself in the line of fire for someone in need. There is no pulling punches, no half heartedness. For Emery it is all or nothing. While perhaps not always calm they care always confident in everything they do. Sometimes to a fault. Though they are also quick to admit when they messed up and need help. They aren't afraid of accepting and admitting their faults and mistakes. Though sometimes an apology might be more like pulling teeth.
While Emery is often loud, wild, and can be overbearing she does have the ability to be soft. She can be quiet and gentle when she wants to be. When she understands that's what someone needs. Especially if that person is important to her.

Emery was the last of the triplets to be born between her and her brothers. What had been expected to be all boys was a pleasant surprise to her parents when they suddenly had a daughter. What should have been a happy, loving childhood was thrown askew by some "prophecy". They were born at home surrounded by their father, a midwife, two nurses, a doctor, and their older brother Ethan. The Donnovan family was part of a religious extremist cult known as the Flame Born Saints. The Flame Born Saints believed that people born with Gifts were a God send. They were special and when triplets were born it was a sign. A prophecy. One that was never told to the children directly but Emery heard in whispers around the convent.
Emery, along with their growing number of siblings, were homeschooled. Like many of the children in the cult. They were taught the basics of reading, writing, and math but after that the learning took a different approach. Emery was expected to be a perfect housewife. Taught and expected from an early age to cook, clean, sew clothing, and take care of a household. Being the oldest daughter in the family it was her job to care for her younger siblings. Keep them in line, feed them, bathe them, change them, everything a mother was expected to do. Emery grew up being raised to care for those around her. On top of that though she was expected to be a soldier. Had a weapon placed in her hand from an early age and taught to wield it against others. Brainwashed to believe that one day God would call upon her to bring down his wrath and his word against the nonbelievers. Prepared for a war the adults were so certain they would see in their lifetime.
Emery and her siblings were expected to be perfect. One small misstep, one toe out of line was met with immediate and painful reprimand. Emery often took to standing in for punishments for her younger siblings. Would shield them behind her and take responsibility for whatever wrong doing they'd committed. Anything so that they wouldn't have to face the agony she knew was coming. Emery became very close with her triplets. They would lean on each other heavily out of necessity. In times of fear an confusion. They had no one else to turn to. No one else to trust. No one was allowed to interact with people outside of the cult. They were brainwashed to believe that those outside only wanted to cause them more harm.
When Emery was sixteen they found out they were arranged to marry a man named Lucien. A man twice their age who'd been married once before and who's wife had died under mysterious circumstances. Emery was petrified. Lucien was known for being particularly strict and cruel and she feared what had happened to his last wife would befall her as well. That was when the triplets finally decided it was time to leave. Two days before Emery was meant to have the ceremony the three of them ran from home. Living under bridges, in abandoned buildings, eventually on the couches of friends they made. That was where she met Kayden, the first real love of her life.
Kayden started out sweet, loving, and affectionate. He introduced Emery to a different side of life they'd never experienced before. Their relationship burned quickly. From meeting to falling in love to getting engaged all in less than a year. Emery was only eighteen at the time and was experiencing the first relationship of their life. Ezekiel and Ezra warned her against him but their pleas for her to leave them fell on deaf ears. It wasn't long after that Kayden showed his true colors however. He became controlling and wildly violent. He isolated Emery from her brothers and friends. Smashed her phone so she couldn't contact anyone. Called for help. And seemed to take a particular joy in torturing her. When Emery was twenty one the stress and abuse caused her to lose her first pregnancy. While in the hospital a nurse helped Emery contact their brothers as they refused to call the police.
That same night Kayden went missing and Emery was brought home. Three years later the triplets moved to los Eurosia and after building up some money started their own night club. Fantasia. A club where people could feel safe. Safe to be themselves. A safe haven for people like Emery and their siblings. The three of them also started a sort of charity. Hiring other terrified Gifteds who had no where else to go. Providing them a job and a place to stay in some small apartments they'd managed to build above the club.
