OVERALL APPEARANCE: His most distinguishing features are his fading Canadian Vancouver accent, being where he was born and raised, and his tattoos. He has multiple, ranging from a skull and crossbones-esque hockey mask and sticks emblem on his left pec, to "sic itur ad astra" across his ribs, to a large paw print on the inside of his right forearm, and massive spread raven wings over both his shoulder blades and the back of both arms. He has a few minor scars from shoulder surgery after an incident in the air force. As well as a few others from some of his less that tame job encounters. Usually clean shaven, but sometimes sports a goatee when he feels less motivated.

When not working, Ferris is a fan of casual collared button up shirts, especially flannel, often sporting such patterns over a white t-shirt or wearing a sweater or a hoodie/flannel jacket combo paired with jeans and boots. His hair is medium length, usually swept to the side or back and often falling in front of his face. He's ex-military, specifically CAF, and that comes through in how he carries himself. He doesn't wear a ring despite being happily married.

OVERALL PERSONALITY: Were Ferris the sort to believe in therapists, he might be persuaded to describe himself as 'lost.' And then to confess that it is almost entirely his own fault for letting his life lead him in that direction. But since he's not the type to discuss his feelings and is still learning how to take ownership of his own desires... Ferris is a quiet man and comes off as cold with a lacking or off-center sense of humor(even though he's actually hilarious and the rest of the world needs to catch up). He likes meeting people through work, but on his own terms, always keeping people at arm's length until he warms up to being less of a prick around them. He tends to be very polarizing in his dedication and focus on his work.

Being a family man has warmed him up a little and grounded him a lot. Having others depend on him so directly and be so invested in him has helped him manage major depression. That and medication of course. He's much more laid back and 'fun' around his kids.

HISTORY:

Ferris was born outside of Vancouver, Canada to a strict Christian family. They lived on a sheep farm and growing up he learned the value of hard work, appreciation for animals and how to repress his personal feelings. He played hockey with his best friend Garret in while growing up but his real dream was to play music. He bought a guitar when he as thirteen and taught himself how to play. His parents discouraged him from a career in music however and he joined the air force out of high school. He was an exploration pilot for the most part. While serving, he met his now ex-fiancé, Murphy, who was a nurse. 

After he left the military, he picked up a few odd jobs, debated going back to school and moved in with his girlfriend who was living in Los Eurosia. Only a year later, he found out that his best friend had committed suicide, and he was beside himself, suffering a mental breakdown and attempting to kill himself as well. While Murphy walked out on him in that moment, he was pretty sure that was for the best. Especially because it led to him becoming closer with his friend Darcy.

The two shared a lot together and eventually, with Darcy's daughter El's blessing, decided they wanted to start a family. Ferris found work as a private security/investigator and got caught up in an incident with a Gifted that landed him in the middle of damage control and investigation by The Sector, exposing him to the true nature of the world around them. Ever the protector, he joined the Sector to do what he could to keep tabs on Gifted. Ferris is less worried about making the world a fairer place, but he would do anything in his power to protect his family and friends. He's not shared the entirity of what he does with his family.
