Red is best described as a horror. Always on the edge of the crowd, he's never felt that he fits in with everyone else. There was something different about him. Too quiet, too particular, too expressionless. It didn't help that his body ate itself from the inside out when his Gift manifested. As alone as he is, he knows that the distance has calcified into permanence.[break]
Now he lives in Los Eurosia, stalking the streets of East End. Most days, Red is an artist. It's his passion- something he wants to devote his time to- but his job at a greenhouse eats into what little time he has. More often, his time is devoured by his Gift. He generally prefers those who are somewhat strange and are social outcasts themselves. He doesn't make or maintain connections easily; if someone's lucky enough to earn his trust, he will still hold them at arm's length and will cut people off at a moment's notice.
ANTAGONISTIC
Red is the villain of many stories. On a bad day, he's something out of a horror movie, all sticks and branches and shifting skin with a glassy, starving stare. On a good day, he's just an prick with anger issues and an attitude problem, who's too tired to be nice. If someone has gotten Red's attention, then he tends to stick around as long as possible, even if their relationship is difficult and complicated.
ROMANTIC
Red has yet to show genuine romantic interest in anyone. He's not particularly keen on romance or sex and doesn't hook up with people.
PLOT HOOKS:
- Hunter - I would love to do something with the Guild! Red is an unaffiliated hunter, and it could be fun to see him run up against their activity- whether that's as an asset or as a liability. He could potentially be recruited into the group as well.
- Creep - A general catch-all for any strange and off-putting activity Red engages in. He doesn't hide his power and it manifests when he's hungry. Even on a human day, he's still fairly odd to be around as he's prone to blatant staring and spends his time making messy, loud, and disruptive art.
- Mystery - Red has left a trail of disappearances in his wake. It could be fun to have a cop, detective, or Sector character looking into his activity and history.
- Artist - As mentioned, Red makes art. Many of his pieces- digital or traditional- are multimedia compositions that play on the body and artificiality. While he takes digital commissions on the side, Red does rent out a studio space where he makes sculptures and large-scale abstract paintings. These have been displayed in a few galleries; but, generally speaking, his work is jarring to look at and he frequently carries parts with him on public transportation.
- Neighbor - As much as he keeps to himself, Red can be a noisy neighbor. His apartment tends to sound like murder. Between his digital and traditional works and his penchant for horror movies, he can be noisy, especially in an apartment complex with thin walls. Not to mention, Red's apartment is plant-infested and they tend to spread.

- Musician - On the rare good day, Kai will sing. On occasion, he'll even take his guitar and play outside. He's a fantastic singer- even though his Gift doesn't work, he can still turn heads with a little tune. Sometimes, he'll even play a venue.
- Rockstar - He hasn't changed much since he fell from the pubkic eye. Sure, Kai's eyes are darker and sleepless, and he has more scars than before, but he still has that purple hair and a voice that's recognizable to any fan of his, former or current.
- Toy - Kai flirts with anyone and everyone. While he has a preference for men, he's not picky and he's weak to anyone taller and stronger than he is, especially those who are rough and mean. He promises a good time, and if that time happens to involve a bit of abuse, then all the better. [break]
Nevermind the crash afterward. It's worth it, right, just to feel something?
- Victim - He's always on the verge of a breakdown. He tries to keep it private- who wants to help out a loser? - but a nasty one-night-stand or the fading adrenaline from a losing fight can push him over the edge. Bruised, broken, and bloody, even when he's lashing out, Kai won't turn down a helping hand.

They also have a large garden that they meditate in, and it houses a small, hidden altar. While Keerin doesn't go out of their way to purposefully injure people, they aren't particularly squeamish about proving a point.
- Socialite - Keerin's family is wealthy, and they're often invited to parties and formal events. Though they aren't representing their grandmother's company, they do have their own private interests they're attempting to pursue, to varying degrees of success.
- Hobbyist - Though Keerin is a stereotypical goth, they are also a crafter. They enjoy making things and have collected a number of skills and hobbies over the years. They have an avid love for homemaking, whether that's cooking, baking, sewing or weaving; they are well-known at the farmer's market and love to chat and trade with the vendors.

- Fighter - Even though Jay's mostly on the straight and narrow, he does like to challenge himself and flex his Gift. Just for fun, you know? Underground fights between Gifted can be fun, even if it's not the most legal. Of course, if she happens to win a bit of money from the betting, even better! Either way, it's a win-win situation-- unless she gets caught, of course.
- Contractor - While Jay does have mundane jobs, she does take on contract work with the Sector. Sometimes she's a bit of extra security, sometimes another set of hands, sometimes even a bounty hunter- according to her- who tracks down wayward Gifted. Even when she isn't off on Sector work, Jay tends to hang around the Sector and use their facilities.
- Student - As much as Jay knows everything about not a lot of things, he does love to learn, whether that's tailing someone out and about on Sector work, reading up on old medical books, or getting an education in practical repair.
- Employee - Jay works tons of odd jobs. The longest he's ever held a position was a year, and the rest of the time, he bounces around. Even though he's not an expert in anything, he does know a little bit about a lot of things, and is open to helping anyone with anything.
- Performer - She's not really sure how she ended up as a pro-wrestler on the local circuit, but she does know that she loves it. Flinging off the ropes to land a punch to her partner's jaw or getting caught and spun around before being tossed onto the mat is so fun. No, her mic work and acting isn't that great- outside of the match she's kind of lousy- but she's having the time of her life. She doesn't really have fans, but there are people out there who like her. Probably.

Deka is a flirt and he enjoys the occasional hook-up. He's not much for dates- his idea of a good time is going to the woods to shoot cans- but he will make an effort to spend time with his partner. - Dogwalker - Deka likes to volunteer at the local animal shelter and sometimes walks dogs for a bit of extra cash. Even though he doesn't have a Gift, he is remarkably good with dogs and would, in fact, spend all day in the kennel.
- Queen - Hit him up after a drag performance! No, it wasn't great, but did he have a lot of fun? Yes. Yes he did. He would be a bit flustered about it- he's not the most confident yet- but he'd be thrilled if someone said they liked it.
- Dancer - Even if he's not performing, Deka does enjoy going to the club to dance. He's usually not drunk since half the time he's the designated driver for his friends, but he'll gladly get you water and a snack if you ask. Deka is also a killer at Dance Dance Revolution and doesn't mind drawing a crowd as long as they don't break his focus.

- Scientist - Most likely to become a mad scientist, Nicole would jump at the opportunity to learn how Gifts work. Whether or not it's ethical is an entirely different question.
- Skater - Outside of work, Nicole is an avid skater. She does roller derby on Wednesdays, and usually unwinds at the rink or park after getting home. This does lead to a number of bruises and scrapes, though Nicole does her best to keep injuries covered up.
- Dancer - Aside from skating, Nicole also loves to dance. Most of her dances are from anime openings, music videos, or trendy dances. She tends to practice in a group of her friends, and they occasionally record videos outside.
