PLATONICMany may view Noah as a friend or at least a friendly acquaintance. He’s good at pretending he cares and he seems nice. Pleasant and accommodating and full of tease, an overall disarming guy that you might want to get drinks with. He's got a 'good guy' reputation around Blackstorm too. But there’s no true warmth behind those eyes. He doesn't see other people as people, and mostly he's just curious about their gifts; how they use them, what they feel like, how it affects their day-to-day, and most importantly, whether he can borrow them.[break][break] He can genuinely like others though. In a very “this is a person I find entertaining and/or interesting” sense, rather than a “this person gives me fuzzy feelings and I would be upset if anything upset/happened to them” one. Don't expect him to open up or talk about himself honestly, and don't expect him to have sincere interest in your problems or past (though he may pretend if he sees a reward for doing so). |
[break]
ANTAGONISTICNoah will surely give some people the creeps, and gifted characters may find it upsetting when he pokes around in their lives, trying to assess whether they'd be a good fit for Blackstorm and his own personal experiments.[break][break] Insults are far more likely to amuse Noah than aggravate. The quickest way to truly earn his distaste would be by showing up to his home uninvited, flirting with a person he sees as his, or by making assumptions about his life and acting as if they know him when they do not. He generally dislikes anyone below the legal drinking age as well.[break][break] He loves a fight. He might not beat every guy in a plain and simple arm wrestle but he's quick and he knows where the weak spots are on a human body. He sees gifted hunters as being the highest form of hypocrisy, and if he sees them attacking someone he's likely to get involved. |
[break]
ROMANTIC[break]A borderline sociopath, love isn’t exactly an emotion Noah has felt before. He can develop a sense of ownership over a person which, to an onlooker, might look like love; he's very much in the business of changing himself to suit whatever the object of his desires wants, trying to be perfect to keep their interest for as long as he's still interested in them. If it's what they want, he’ll cook and clean for them and smother them with affection, showering them with gifts and being 100% down for fooling around at any given moment. There's little he wouldn't do to keep their eyes on him.[break][break] The main drawback (aside from a general lack of emotional openness and empathy) would be his possessiveness, which would drive him to isolate his partner as much as possible. Why would they want to see their friends and family when they have him around?[break][break] Noah is pansexual and a big ol’ flirt, a bit of an expert in casual flings. At the moment, however, he's unlikely to hook up with anyone. |
[break]PLOT HOOKS
Have you heard the good word of our lord and saviour Blackstorm?
Noah is part of Blackstorm! He can try to recruit your gifted character, butt heads with your Sector character, or get hyped with your fellow Blackstorm character over their eventual liberation![break]Anything you can do, I can do... worse?
Noah loves to borrow gifts. Perhaps a fellow Blackstorm agent or gifted individual would let him practice with theirs? If you want to go into detail about how your character's powers work, this could be the thread for you c:[break]Oops, I did it again
Noah could accidentally kill an NPC when borrowing their powers, or he could witness your character accidentally killing someone. Either way, he and your character would then have to clean up the mess to hide the crime and the existence of gifted/Blackstorm.[break]That's suspicious, that's weird
Just what does Noah St Cloud do all day? Your character is unaware of Blackstorm and knows he’s unemployed, so how does he have such a nice house in one of the cosier neighbourhoods? Where’s his family? Maybe an investigation is in order. A surprise home visit might be a good start, except Noah hates playing host.[break]Two shots of vodka *pours way more than two shots*
Your character is very drunk. Maybe they were trying to call for a ride home but they accidentally call Noah instead. Now he’s there, stone-cold sober and finding the whole thing hilarious as he tries to stop your character from being a danger to themselves.[break]A bit tied up right now
Don't worry about how it happened, what's important is: Noah found himself in a spot of trouble and now he's literally in a bind. Maybe he's tied to a chair in a shady building, maybe he's just staggering around the street with his hands bound behind his back. Either way, your character stumbles across him and he tries to enlist their help. Maybe the 'bad guys' then show up and he and your character have to make a break for it.[break]Put your hands here...
Whether your character wants to learn to shoot or throw a punch, Noah could help. (Must be on friendly terms with Noah and/or be a Blackstorm member).[break][break]Friday Night Bites
Noah is absolutely buzzing. He was already having a great time partying and then he got ambushed by an actual vampire. Now he temporarily has some fangs, a craving, & a blood induced healing factor he's super eager to try out. Either A) he knows your character already and basically sprints over to be like 'you will not BELIEVE what I can do right now; look at my teeth, let me try them out on your neck and drink you like kool-aid PLS IT'LL BE FUN I SWEAR' Or B) A fight breaks out between NPCs and a stray elbow or fist whacks your character. Now they have a nose bleed or a drink spilled all over them, giving Noah the perfect excuse to lead them into a bathroom to clean up, play a game of 'is this story from a horror movie/book or is it an event that actually happened in Noah's/your character's life', and figure out the best way to casually suggest letting him bite them.Almost wistful
Your character has a gift that influences the weather in some way (bonus points if they have rain powers). Noah comes from a family that was full of weather-controllers, so he's very happy when he discovers your character's ability and gets to borrow a gift that he's actually an expert with. Maybe he and your character can simply discuss the gift and keep things light, or maybe the topic of family could come up.[break]Milkshake Mix-up
In a quiet diner at midnight, Noah orders a strawberry milkshake and is devastated when presented with a blatantly not-strawberry drink instead. Luckily, it seems that your character received his preferred cold beverage and the waiter simply mixed their orders up. (I have no real plot in mind for this, it's just another way for someone to meet Noah that doesn't involve violence, gifts, or alcohol lmao)[break]All signs point to you
Noah's been doing some research, looking through very old newspapers for signs of gifted activity. He's traced the bloodline of one particular headline subject to your character, and he's now sniffing around to suss out whether they might be as gifted as their ancestor apparently was. Maybe he simply approaches your character in public, or he could turn up at their door and fabricate a reason to be let in, OR he could break into your character's house and get caught in the act.

PLATONICEve will wander up to pretty much anyone for no real reason at all. She's friendly and non-judgemental, a great listener for those who need to vent, and she has a mischievous side and a strong curiosity that will push her to try just about anything as long as it’s legal. While she might not have someone's back in a fight, she'll fuss over them and do her best to patch them up afterwards.[break][break] There's definitely potential for her to have some super wholesome friendships, but I also think it could be fun for her to get mixed up with shadier individuals who maybe aren't always so nice to her but she can't stop herself from helping them if they're in need. Though, being a tad on the squeamish side, she might not always be a very efficient helper. |
[break]
ANTAGONISTICEve is nosy, and her gift of telepathy can be intrusive. And there's always the chance someone may not like her predictions of the future, or feel she could have done more to stop undesirable events from coming to pass. However, she’s very conflict averse – bordering on anxiety with how much she considers the feelings of others, and is highly unlikely to get involved in arguments.[break][break] She doesn’t rise to insults, simply brushing them off with an infuriating calm (though she will probably cry about it in the safety of her bedroom later if anything particularly hurtful was said), and if someone were to attempt fighting her physically, she’d either run for her life or freeze up. |
[break]
ROMANTIC[break] Eve can appreciate the aesthetics of all kinds of folks, but as a demisexual she won’t feel attraction to a person unless she forms an emotional attachment to them first. Casual hook-ups simply won’t happen – or at least, she won’t perceive them as casual, and she would be heartbroken if the individual told her their encounter was meaningless on their part.[break][break] She’s had a couple of boyfriends over the years but neither of them believed in her ‘witchcraft’ and one of them actively belittled her for it. Therefore, though she wouldn’t demand any future partner to share her beliefs, she wouldn’t pursue someone who’s openly dismissive of her gifts and religion.[break][break] Likely a slow-burn if you're looking to romance her, but when she realises she has romantic feelings for your character, she'll be very quick to let them know. There'll be no tiptoeing around it; I like you, I want to get closer, do you like me too? |
[break]PLOT HOOKS
Witchy-woo
Eve can tell your character their future! Otherwise, they could simply look around her store – even if they’re not interested in witchcraft, they might be interested in the pretty trinkets or cannabis she sells.[break][break]Cottagecore realness
Eve is out in the woods gathering herbs for her store, but she’s never been known for dressing properly for the occasion. Her heels will probably break, so maybe she’ll need a strapping guy or gal to carry her for a bit – or at least pull her out from the mud and point her back in the direction of the road.[break]You spoke to God???
If your character is a shapeshifter, Eve might be startled to hear them thinking human thoughts while they're in animal form. She might think they’ve been sent by deities to be her familiar, or maybe she’ll think they’re a deity themselves. The plot chickens
She’s very scared of chickens. Seriously, she’ll cry. Perhaps one somehow gets into her store, or a whole bunch of them escape an animal transport van and start running amok in the street. Your character might find her reactions hilarious, or they might take pity on her and remove her (or the chicken(s)) from the situation.[break]Once upon a dream
Eve has had dream visions of being your character's friend! So when she finally sees them in the waking world, she just strolls right on up to them and acts like she's known them forever; offering to get them their favourite soft drink/food, asking about their pet(s) she saw, their family, etc. Whether they like it or not, Eve is gonna weasel her way into your character's life - she has to! Her dreams told her what great buds they'd be![break]A little extra help
One of your character's colleagues has been using Eve's precognition to get ahead in their profession (this would probably work best with someone who's a cop or a hunter - or working any kind of job where they might need to track someone down/find things). Your character, suspicious of their colleague, does some investigating and is eventually led to Eve. Maybe they dismiss what she can do, figuring it must be luck that her readings have helped their colleague. Or maybe they think 'damn, there might be something to this' and try to use Eve themselves.[break]Weather Warning
Unfortunately, something bad is coming your character’s way. Evening saw it in a dream, and though she knows there’s no real way to stop her visions from coming true, she still gently tries to let your character know in advance so they can at least be somewhat prepared for it. Or perhaps this interaction already happened “offscreen”, and now your character confronts her on how she knew the bad thing would happen and demands to know why she didn’t do more to stop it.[break]

PLATONICHoney is a lovely, lively girl - if friendship is what you're looking for, she'll be more than happy to give it to you![break][break] She's very creative and has lots of artistic hobbies, so she's bound to recognise and appreciate the hard work that goes into learning such skills if your character has similar interests. They can talk about their favourite paints to use, share knitting patterns and pottery tips - anything, really! Or if your character is more into technology, they may be up to the For a pre-established friendship, perhaps if your character has had problems with their powers before, the Sector got involved and suggested (or maybe sorta forced?) them to spend some time at Honey's home until they got a better handle on it. Or maybe they could be struggling with their gift(s) now and we could RP them living together while your character learns better control. |
[break]
ANTAGONISTICIn wolf form, someone might feel she's dangerous. They may try to shoot her either for sport or because she's on their property. [break][break] In human form, her consistently cheerful demeanour may rankle some individuals, and occasionally she can be outright oblivious to the feelings of others and do/say something stupid to hurt them.[break][break] Honey has a lot of love and respect for nature, and would dislike anyone who does not treat the environment with the care it deserves (i.e. if someone litters, hurts animals, or works for a big company that is responsible for oil spills/creates tonnes of pollution). |
[break]
ROMANTIC[break]Honey is attracted to both men and women, but historically has formed more crushes on women. She's mostly uncomplicated when it comes to matters of love. Mostly - because there's the small matter of... well... what happened to her last girlfriend.[break][break] It could be argued that it was done for survival. That Honey was no longer herself; the wolf's instincts had taken over. The incident doesn't quite haunt Honey in her day-to-day life, but she's bound to show some hesitance if asked to go on a walk in the woods alone together, and will outright refuse any offer of a romantic camping trip.[break][break] Other than that, she tends to be direct about her feelings and intentions, and also handles rejection remarkably well - to the extent that the rejecter might feel somewhat offended, like, did she even like me in the first place?? Was she just joking around when she asked me out?? |
[break]PLOT HOOKS
Where wolf?
During a somewhat normal interaction with your character, Honey suddenly explodes into wolf form. But then, within in the blink of an eye, she shifts back into human form. Now Honey is doing her best to gaslight your character that it didn't happen. Something wrong with your eyes bro? I didn't see a wolf...[break]Totally kidding and completely serious
Heya pretty person Honey just met three seconds ago, let's go on a date! Like, now. Right now.[break]Not cool, bro. Not cool
Honey was just minding her own business, sniffing around the forest in her wolf form, until your character came along and shot at her! Maybe by accident, maybe on purpose. Either way, human!Honey has some scolding to do.[break]They try to make me go to rehab...
Your character is having issues with their powers. Obvious issues that draws the Sector's attention. The Sector approaches them and suggests (read: coerces them) to take a little break from society until they get it under control, and drops them off at Honey's home for her to help. Maybe your character is cool with this, maybe they're really uncool with it and try to make things as difficult for Honey as possible.[break]

[break]
PLATONICLaidback and a bit of a pushover, Ryan probably gets along with most people - especially as he can usually hold his tongue when others display behaviours that he doesn't like. He's not someone who likes to involve himself in deep/personal conversations though, so his friendship may feel a bit shallow and flimsy to your character, but if your character also tries to avoid that kind of stuff or likes to talk about themselves more than they like to hear from other people, they might really appreciate his apparent lack of opinions and complicatedness.[break][break] He's into true crime and mysteries, so he would enjoy discussing conspiracy theories and serial killers and perhaps could even be roped into playing detective! Maybe he and your character could look over some cold cases/old Sector files together, and decide to figure out what happened for themselves.[break][break] He likes video games - mostly FPS ones - so perhaps he and your character could play together online or in person. He crochets, so he might be found at a store picking up more wool, and he likes to read and he occasionally smokes, so you might find him in a smoking area or in the library picking up some new books. He also has his second job narrating those books, so maybe your character could show an interest in that line of work or just be curious about the recording equipment in his apartment. |
[break]
ANTAGONISTICRyan is pretty inoffensive most of the time. He doesn't typically aim to rile anyone up and, depending on the situation, will usually just roll his eyes and avoid anyone who's being aggressive towards him.[break][break] To his colleagues and to those whom he sees on a regular basis, his laziness and/or dismissive attitude in relation to certain tasks/chores could be irritating. His lack of opinion on some things (or refusal to give any opinions he does have) can be exasperating as well.[break][break] He's content to let things slide and very rarely blows up at strangers or loses his cool over a single incident. His ire is much more slow-building, a resentment that comes from enduring something for an extended period. The anger needs time to fester like an infection before he starts snapping his teeth like a rabid dog. If pushed enough he can definitely get angry and up in someone's face about it, but honestly he'd probably lose in a physical fight. He'd give it his best though. |
[break]
ROMANTIC[break]Ryan isn't a great flirt and doesn't like to talk too deeply about personal stuff, so though he can be attracted to someone and open to getting to know them better, he'll likely somewhat keep them at arms length - whether consciously or not.[break][break] It doesn't help that he's also still uncertain about his sexuality and struggles to identify if he's really attracted to someone or whether he simply appreciates their appearance and/or company. He doesn't have any negative feelings about LGBT+ people or the concept of being queer himself, so it's not a matter of shameful repression - he just tends to avoid self-reflection/discovery and doesn't really know what, and who, he's into.[break][break] This ignorance would probably make him less likely to recognise if someone had such feelings about him. They would have to flirt consistently, tell him, or make a move. |
[break]PLOT HOOKS
Softly To Sleep
Ryan has an ASMR/bedtime story channel on YouTube and occasionally gets gigs voicing audiobooks. Your character sometimes falls asleep to the sound of his voice! How they react when they meet him in person is up to you, but I have a few 'route suggestions' that might be of interest:[break]A) Ryan is at lunch with his parents who don't know about his second job and would think it's weird/a waste of time. Your character approaches and sort of 'outs' him and he just denies, denies, denies and is overall a flustered mess. Maybe your character brings out their phone to be like 'oh well ok listen this guy sounds just like you lol' and Ryan snatches the phone or drags your character away from his parents to be like 'PLEASE STOP'[break][break]
B) Your character confronts Ryan (in a nice way) when he's on his own and he's just shy about it and asks them not to tell people/post his face anywhere etcetera. Unfortunately he probably won't want to pursue a friendship with them because although they were nice, he'll get self-conscious and keep cringing at the thought of them listening to his videos and judging him.[break][break]
C) (probably my favourite option) I think it could be fun if your character is like... sorta conditioned to feel comforted when they hear him speak, but then they're uncomfy about feeling comforted because now he's not just some faceless guy online - he's Ryan. And maybe they don't tell him that they know about his YouTube channel, and they keep listening to his uploads while also seeing him a bunch in real life and feeling all sorts of awkward about it lololol. Then one day one of Ryan's videos accidentally plays on full blast on your character's phone or computer while he's there with them, and he's like oh.... omg.... and they're both super embarrassed about it. (Bonus points if their relationship has romantic undertones)Then keep digging, Watson
Ryan and your character look over some cold cases/old Sector files together, and decide to figure out what happened for themselves. Maybe this ends kinda funnily, like they figure out where the missing person is and approach them but the person is just like "?? um actually the police/Sector found me years ago, everything is fine, they must have just forgotten to update my file" lmao. Or maybe they actually dig into something big and there's bribery and corruption, cover ups, and consequences for our characters[break]Clipping through walls
Your character tries to introduce him to a new game and he fails in ways that weren't previously known to be possible. Maybe it's a dating sim (boy has NO rizz and chooses all the wrong options), maybe it's a peaceful farming sim and he somehow creates chaos on his farm, or maybe it's a horror game and they're both screaming the whole time while Ryan keeps running into dead-ends and having to dodge monsters.[break]Swipe right
Ryan has a Tinder profile. Granted, it was created by his friend Devin (who swipes right on literally everyone to give Ryan the best chance he can), but whether it's for giggles/curiosity or because your character is actually attracted to Ryan, they've matched with him. Now to message him in a way that won't give away that it's Tinder... Send Ryan a random question and pretend to be friends with Devin, or pretend to be part of an online crochet club that Devin supposedly signed him up for. Whatever you like! Ryan's not quite sure what he's into, but maybe talking to (and meeting up with?) your character will eventually help him figure it out.[break]

[break]
PLATONICMisti is a little difficult to get close to. Her mother died when she was young, her father was mostly absent due to work, and she spent about five years caring for her bedridden grandmother; her childhood home was almost always empty, so she's accustomed to being alone and doesn't actively try to make friends.[break][break] Any friends she makes are likely to be very persistent individuals who aren't easily offended by curt responses. The easiest way for a character to gain her attention is by showing they have some sort of talent or skill, as she greatly admires dedication to learning. She's very content to talk about other people and will even force herself to make small-talk with strangers if she feels it's necessary, but she will typically cringe away when asked anything she considers too personal.[break][break] She finds it easy to empathise with others if they open up to her, and once your character reaches the friendship zone Misti will drop everything at a moment's notice to be there for them. She's not great at verbally expressing affection but the rate of her physically touching your character (hugs, patting, shoulder bumping) will steeply incline. |
[break]
ANTAGONISTICUnless they’re a client whom she’s trying to keep the business of, or if she's in an anxious mood and adopting the 'tend-and-befriend' response, Misti tends to come across as quite stand-offish and snooty. If not by her face or by her words, just her general energy. Most of the time she doesn't mean to do it (though some strangers may find she'll play up this side of her in an attempt to make them leave), but I can see her easily getting on the nerves of anyone, really, especially those who lack patience or have a strong aversion to stuck-up people. |
[break]
ROMANTIC[break]Misti is pansexual and thus can be attracted to anyone regardless of their identity. I don’t imagine she would have casual hook ups often (and she certainly wouldn’t be the one to seek them out), but if your character can find a way to impress her, who knows![break][break] Unlikely to fall for someone who has a particularly flirty personality or is a little too 'smooth'. Pick up lines or anything crude are unlikely to make a good impression on her either, though if they're already established as friends she might find bold come-ons more funny than offensive (mostly because she'll think it's harmless and assume they're not seriously trying to seduce her).[break][break] Probably a more 'old-fashioned', steady kind of girlfriend if you're looking to romance her. Not all fireworks and grand adventures, but someone unwaveringly there. She probably won't be the one to tell someone she's interested first, and will instead do her best to indirectly let them know by constantly offering to help in their day-to-day activities. |
[break]PLOT HOOKS
Cut the cameras. Deadass.
Misti is completely oblivious to the whole gifted thing. We could do some fun shenanigans where your character is trying to hide their powers from her, or your character could put them on full display and Misti will just be like ‘haha cool where’s the cameras? You’re really good at acting btw.’[break]That's not funny...
Her whole livelihood and passion rests on her hands being able to play piano. If she badly injures her hands or if someone were to threaten breaking them, well… it wouldn't be pretty.[break]Old dog, new tricks
Misti feels that people need to start learning at a young age, or else they'll never perfect a skill. She thinks it’s too late for her to learn a new hobby/craft/how to play another instrument – maybe your character could prove her wrong![break]Gotta pay the bills somehow
Your character may want to employ Misti! On top of tuning and tutoring, she can be hired to play piano at a soirée or other event[break]Chelsea Dagger
Misti really doesn't get out much. Her life is basically all work and no play - maybe she needs someone to take her clubbing :3[break]Are you part of... the secret society?
For whatever reason, your character could mistake her for someone who’s gifted. Mass confusion arises from the misunderstanding[break]Who let the dogs out
Misti occasionally volunteers at The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Maybe some dogs get loose so Misti and your character have to herd them up, or maybe they could get locked in a storage closet together and either figure a way out or have to wait until they’re rescued by a staff member.[break]Two bros chilling in a church club
Misti’s dad is now a pastor at a local church – so perhaps she goes to an event hosted by the church as a favour to him and happens to meet your character there. Maybe the event is a treasure hunt/escape room situation, and she and your character get paired together.[break]There Is Only One Bed
Some of you will know this trope without me having to explain it lmao. Basically your character might need a place to crash for the night (they could be too drunk to get home, temporarily exiled from their home due to a pest problem etc etc), but Misti is a softie and wouldn’t ask a guest to sleep on the couch so she offers her bed, then your character would protest and they’d have a back-and-forth about who gets it. Maybe they’ll end up sharing. Not necessarily romantic![break]

PLATONICBramble struggles to make friends for multiple reasons, the main ones being: he often doesn't know what to say to form friendships, and his girlfriend doesn't like him to spend much time with other people.[break][break] He goes to a local gym, so he might have a few people there who he's been willing to spot for before, and maybe have some small talk with them during water breaks.[break][break] It would be good for him to try new things, find something he likes, and decide it's okay for him to like it.[break][break] WIP. |

ANTAGONISTICDespite his baby face, Bramble has a strong, solid-looking body and undoubtedly there have been times over the years where guys have tried to pick a fight with him to 'impress' a girl or because they're trying to prove their own masculinity and strength somehow. But Bramble has never hit back. And I don't imagine him starting now. He'll just take a beating and wait for the attacker to (hopefully) get it out of their system and leave him be.[break][break] Bramble will avoid most fights and conflict, yet he may get a little argumentative if someone were to leap to his defence against others.[break][break] Usually he does this because making them back down is his roundabout way of protecting them. He doesn't want them to get hurt because they're trying to help him, or for them to face any consequences because they were trying to 'avenge' his own temporary discomfort. He's used to it, he'll be fine. He can't trust that they will be.[break][break] When it comes to criticising his girlfriend, that's bound to get him all twisted up and defensive as well. She loves him. No matter what she does, he believes that. And he believes she's the only one who can 'accept' and love him. He doesn't need anyone putting doubts in his head that could potentially ruin his only true shot at happiness and a relationship. |

ROMANTIC[break]Bramble is currently dating an NPC named Chloe Westerling.[break][break] It is not a good relationship. It is not healthy.[break][break] I would like to see him get out of it eventually and, depending on the company he keeps and the behaviours that are encouraged in him, I could imagine this going one of two ways:[break][break] 1) He could be persuaded to leave her and helped to do so. Chloe would still make problems for him occasionally but at least he's no longer with her.[break][break] 2) He could be pushed to his absolute limits until he snaps - accidentally doing something Very Bad that he'll quickly come to regret. He spirals a bit. It haunts him.[break][break] In the meantime, anyone who tries to flirt with Bramble would likely terrify him, as Chloe is prone to jealousy and often punishes him for imagined unfaithfulness. Someone trying to woo him would have to be a lot more subtle about it, and get comfortable with being referred to as 'friend' and only being able to see him in quick, sporadic, and weirdly secretive hangouts.[break][break] If not already obvious, a romance with him would have to be a slow-burn. Bramble would recognise his attraction to your character, but he'd be terrified of leaving Chloe and unable to believe his feelings could be reciprocated. He believes he and Chloe love each other and has had it drilled into his head that no one else would ever want him. That he's lucky to have one person that tolerates him at all, and no one else could accept him as he is or desire him. |
[break]PLOT HOOKS
Holding Hands In The Dark
Bramble and your character meet in a cinema, both there with their respective friends but sitting next to each other (or maybe they're already friends with Bramble and they went there together on purpose). It's a little scary (or maybe it's not a horror and whatever is on screen is just scary for your character lol), and your character grabs onto Bramble every time something scary happens, perhaps ultimately just deciding to hold his hand through the rest of the film. AND/OR: there's gore, your character feels queasy and walks out. Bramble, through a weird, newfound sense of loyalty from holding your character's hand, follows to make sure they're okay.[break]Long Drive Home
An engine failure leaves a large group of people stranded at a little train station in the middle of nowhere. Bramble and your character are among them. Since they're both trying to get to Los Eurosia, it makes sense for them to team up and form a plan.[break]Paper Cut
(Likely to be a short thread unless we combine it with another idea). Bramble has an ouchie. Your character insists on putting a bandaid on it even though Bramble thinks it's unnecessary. He gets super weird and in his feelings about it. (or vice versa!)[break]Night Jogging
Your character is walking through the park at night and notices Bramble following close behind. With every step your character is getting more and more paranoid until finally, as Bramble goes to pass them, they swivel on their heel and punch him in the face. Turns out, Bramble really was just trying to make it home quickly. He'd barely noticed your character before they hit him.[break]Morning, Sleepyhead
Bramble gets kicked out of his flat for the night and decides to crash on the couch in his workplace's staffroom. If your character works where he does, they can stumble across him in the morning. Otherwise, they may bump into him at the corner shop where he's trying to track down toothpaste and other necessary items to survive a night.[break]Built Different
Based on the tweet: "If me and a trusted colleague were faced with only one bed available at the inn, I would simply sleep on the couch or floor. RIP to everyone else floundering neck-deep in unresolved sexual tension but I'm different." Maybe they both end up hunkering down on the floor. Bramble's never had a sleepover with a friend before and probably needs to be taught the 'traditions'.[break]Coach Journey
Bramble and your character get on the same coach! They're headed back to Los Eurosia from out of town (I'm flexible about where that was) and the trip will take a few hours or potentially a whole day, so there's plenty of time for them to get acquainted. Some interaction ideas include but are not limited to:[break][break][break]
- The only place for their luggage is overhead and your character struggles to get it up there. Bramble, who got on behind them and coincidentally has the ticket to the seat next to theirs, steps in to help them (or vice versa if your character is taller lol).
- Either they stop at a gas station for food or your character has packed their own. While they're eating it next to him, Bramble's stomach rumbles. He'd spent all his money on the ticket and hadn't been expecting to be taking the coach, so he isn't prepared/couldn't afford lunch/dinner. Maybe sharing is an option?
- Your character is watching a Netflix show with subtitles. He doesn't mean to, but Bramble starts to watch too and gets invested.
- They fall asleep during the final stretch. When the coach stops and announces it's time to get off, they wake up having fully slumped against each other with their head on the other's shoulder etc. Time to groggily get up and out, and exchange numbers before they go? Or maybe Bramble gets nervous and suggests they leave any future meetings 'up to fate'.
