ABOUT
Charlotte is a weird person to be around. She has antisocial personality disorder (sometimes called sociopathy, which is a mental health condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. People with antisocial personality disorder tend to purposely make others angry or upset and manipulate or treat others harshly or with cruel indifference. They lack remorse or do not regret their behavior). She has learnt to mask it well, but she does tend to be rude or (mentally) hurt people without meaning to because she simply doesn't know any better. She isn't aware of feelings and doesn't often feel embarrassed when she's doing things that aren't socially acceptable.
Charlotte has a dog, named Jack, who she loves very much! She likes to go to the park with him. She also suffers from depression and difficult times from time to time, and Jack helps her leave the house and actually get some fresh air. Apart from that, she works in a record store, which is also something that forces her to go outside.
PLATONIC
Charlotte is... Unpredictable. Some people really like her because she doesn't beat around the bush, and she can be pretty funny and nice to be around with, but she is the kind of person to be adopted by others. She doesn't actively try hard to make friends. If it happens, it happens. That being said, most people don't hate her at first sight. She can be perceived as a little odd or unique, but you wouldn't suspect the has an antisocial personality disorder.
Charlotte has some friends, and most of them are from back when she was in college or doing drugs. She had cut ties with quite a lot of the latter group, though. She works in a record store and kind of gets along with her co-workers as well.
ANTAGONISTIC
Because she's unpredictable, there will also be people who don't like how she behaves. Again, her lack of understanding of what's deemed right and wrong, or her sometimes weird and rude behaviour can piss people off.
Charlotte likes a good fight every now and then, to let off some steam. She's not afraid of confrontation and can be a real bitch if/when she wants to be.
ROMANTIC

When it comes to love and romance, Charlotte tends to stay away from it. She likes one night stands and hook-ups every now and then, just to fulfill her needs, but doesn't care much about being in a long-term relationship. But she is capable of it, when she meets someone she really likes. Most relationships have simply not worked out for her because she is only capable of recognising her own feelings and emotions, and even that is something she struggles with. She doesn't recognise emotions in others and is oblivious to their wants and needs if they're not verbally expressed to her.
PLOT HOOKS
• Friends from college. Charlotte dropped out of college, but before she did, she went to a lot of parties and met a lot of people. Maybe she knows your character from college, or they took some classes together?
• Charlotte's roommate is in the process of moving out and she needs to find someone to split rent with. She rents the first floor of a house, which consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a small garden, a bathroom and an office room.
• Fired! Damn, Charlotte called out of work a little too often. Her manager fired her. Maybe your character needs someone to work at their job/company? An animal rescue, a bar, another record store, something entirely different?
• Jack, come back! For some reason, Jack goes missing. The front door didn't close properly and he saw something interesting outside, or he ran off in the park (in any case, it would have to be a good reason because Jack is well behaved) and Charlotte asks you if you've seen him. Maybe you join the search?
• Something gift related: barely anyone knows about her gift, but maybe we can come up with a plot about it?
• Deal gone wrong: Charlotte used to be a drug (ab)user. She's not the kind to not pay, but maybe she forgot once and her old dealer wants their money. This can be antagonistic or can come to a good end.
