CONTEXT
This one's about Grace Gatsby ! I actually recently deleted her but I think I might bring her back with a bit of a revamp if anyone wants to do this idea lmao. For anyone who never 'met' Grace: she's like a homicidal Regina George, super into pink and makeup and 'girly' things but also a hunter for the Guild - which her father is the leader of.
And she has had ENOUGH. Not because she's decided hunting Gifted is bad or anything, but because her childhood friend (who she secretly had a crush on for the longest time and believed to be dead for the past six years) is actually alive. He faked his death. Let them all mourn him. And when she went to tell her sister the news, she found that she already knew and, to add insult to injury, had been dating him in secret for months.
In the resulting breakdown Grace cut out her Guild tattoo and is now flying off the radar with no phone or anything that would make her traceable. Her parents believe she is simply taking a 'sabbatical', of sorts. She can't lie to their faces and act like Dino is dead, but she can't tell them he's alive and be the reason that he's hunted down properly this time.
PLOT
Away from Los Eurosia (in any state you wish!) Grace wakes up one morning in a barn and is found by the owner who offers her a place to live in return for helping out on the ranch/farm. Wanting a distraction (and perhaps wanting to pretend to be human for a while) Grace takes the offer.
Cue entitled-rich-city-girl-becoming-mellower-country-girl montage, with help of friend? Enemy to friend? Enemy to friend to lover? Your pick~
THREAD IDEAS
- Day one. Grace waking up in the barn, meeting your character (the owner or perhaps a farm hand?).[break]
- Grace gets kicked in the stomach by a horse/donkey/whatever and your character (reasonably alarmed) wants to get her to a hospital in case she cracked a rib or something. But Grace is like 'oh don't worry this is nothing, I've get worse than this at home all the time haha' which is obviously a very concerning statement.[break]
- Drinks by a campfire after dark[break]
- Horseback riding going crazy bad (then crazy well later - races?)[break]
- Herding cattle together, pulling a cow out a ditch together[break]
- Your character, if human, is exactly what she believes everyone in the world should be. They end up in a situation where she reveals her gift, and she might have to tell them that gifted people exist.[break]
- Your character, if gifted, reveals their gift. Uh oh! Grace has to struggle with the idea that she would have immediately tried to kill them if she'd met them in a different context.[break]
- Whether your character is gifted or not, perhaps they can eventually persuade her that being gifted doesn't mean she's a monster and needs to die.[break]
YOUR CHARACTER
Is completely up to you! The only thing I'd say is needed is that they work on or own a ranch/farm outside of Los Eurosia. So if you'd like them to live in Los Eurosia, maybe they could just take trips out to the ranch sometimes?
I'd also be open to considering a Guild member (or someone with ties to the Guild) being sent after her to keep an eye on what she's up to, since she's Guild Princess and all. As long as she doesn't know they're Guild at first c: We can figure it out!

In Doctor Doctor, gimme the news, Noah St Cloud needed medical attention because he implied he knew about someone's chlorokinesis and they panicked, attacking him before running away.
So I'm thinking... after almost a whole year of her evading him, Noah has finally managed to hunt her down. They fight. She uses her gift against him again but this time she doesn’t wound him quite so badly. He steals her gift, injures her the exact same way she injured him the first time (a cut on her side deep enough to scar & need stitches), and she thinks he’s going to kill her but – ‘huh? what? I’m not trying to kill you. I’m getting even with you. Here – I’ll stitch you up and you can experience how shitty it was for me when I was the one recovering from your stupid shenanigans’.
Maybe he abducts her back to his house to do this, and maybe she'sforced allowed to stay there for a few days while he gleefully monitors her healing process and makes comments like 'yh this was so much harder for me when I was going through it, at least you're getting food made for you - I had to fend for myself.'
He'll grow bored of her and dump her on the street once he feels he's had his revenge, but maybe they'll have a weird almost-friendship thing where he's like 'lol she's such a wimp it's almost endearing' and she's like '...y'know, apart from the whole being attacked, sewn up, and abducted thing, staying in his house was kinda nice???'
In my head I've been calling her Seth (sort of a play on Persephone lmaoo) but I’ve been referring to this character as ‘they’ in RP posts, so I'm defo open to them being any gender and having any name you'd like.

- Seth is on the run from something - hunters, a dodgy family, the law, whatever you want. But she's very baby. Complete sweetheart, out of her depth, scared of her own shadow, which is why she was so quick to attack Noah when he implied he knew she was gifted. Being on the run/motel hopping/having a very unappealing living situation could also explain why she might actually like chilling at Noah's house for a little while lmao.
- Seth had a boyfriend/fiancé/girlfriend who often warned her about hunters until one day they suddenly disappeared. They might be dead. She can’t believe they would just… abandon her, but maybe they did. Maybe she’s only loitering in Los Eurosia because they said that’s where the two of them should meet if they were ever separated.
