" Good morning, Sunshine!" the Shapeshifter was strapped on an examination table while Villin was looking at screens with data on the Shapeshifter. He had taken any sample that he could imagine and he had been studying the data. There had been music while the Shapeshifter was unconscious, but he had turned it off when he noticed them waking up " Hope you slept well" he didn't really care. They were in a round examination room slash lab underneath his home in Grey Pebble. His home was a mansion isolated from the others. The exterior looked like the mansion from the Addams family, but the interior was a little bit more complicated. Let's just say that he had taken inspiration from a certain videogame. The main colour in this room was glowish blue. There were screens on the walls and various lab equipment. There were no keyboards on sight or anything manual, Acker didn't need it. The room seemed closed on itself, but there were two in-wall doors. One door led to a corridor and more doors, the other led upstairs. The doors could only be opened by him. It didn't look like that there were any doors anyway, just a smooth round wall. Acker walked towards the examination table " I've been wondering if you have a human form, dear shapeshifting dog" he snapped his fingers and a comportment came down from the ceiling, he grabbed something from inside of it " So I wondered...how can I make you shapeshift?" he was holding something that looked like a tube with a metallic top, it had a button underneath his thumb. "Perhaps pain is the trigger? Fear? Both?" Acker pushed the button and electricity zapped from the metallic tube's top "This ought to wake you up!" He then touched the dog and zapped them. Sure, he had imagined that the Shapeshifter could turn into another animal, something more dangerous than a dog, but he would deal with it. After all he wasn't alone. There were those balls of his in the room and the Lads.

Sasha was slow to awaken, their mind groggy from the drugs. They had decided. They really hated those sleep-thorns, or whatever they were. Dully they were aware of a voice, likely the same person who had captured them, but their thoughts and instincts were muddled, making it hard to understand what exactly was being said, or how to respond. Not that they could really respond. No need to show this human any more than they already had. What forms had they revealed so far? They remembered using coyote and fox... and while unconscious, they had become a dog. That was normal; Sasha had learnt the dog was their most comfortable form and the one they reverted to when they had lost their eye. Was there anything in their list they could use? Bobcat, perhaps. Before they had been reluctant, but having claws would make it easier to reach the human's fragile skin even while they were restrained. A single slip up with an angry bobcat could cost the man dearly. But beyond that, they had little. They had scented larger predators in the forest - cougars, even the occasional black bear - but had never seen them. Nor had they had the chance to see any of the larger ungulates. Before they could make a decision, sharp pain shot through their body, making them yelp out and squirm. Their teeth snapped instinctively, straining to bite the cause. What was that?! It was unlike anything Sasha had ever felt before. It bit like a viper's fang. Had they been in any form other than the dog, they might have shifted to their most comfortable form in an effort to escape, but the dog was their most comfortable form and instead all they did was cry out pitifully like any wounded dog. Acker let out a long and noisy sigh when nothing happened. Sure, the shapeshifter whined in pain and all, but he didn't care about that. He had examined the dog's teeth and concluded that they were young, but he was interested in the human form. He wanted to know who this shapeshifter was "You must have a human form" the tests had confirmed it. " I would inject you with adrenaline, but these are close quarters and you could turn into a lion for all I know" he was unusually serious, he sounded more like a researcher dealing with data than a mad scientist dealing with a kidnapped Gifted. He put away the zapper while absentmindely biting his lower lip. Behind him on one of the screens words started appearing. Suddenly, a face appeared on one of the other screens " Hey Nik! I know you are home! We need to talk about the charity and you are not taking my calls, as you dooo!" Acker recognised the annoying melodic tone as if whoever talked was also singing at the same time. Acker disliked anyone who called him Nik and the reason was because his little brother called him that. His brother was waiting for Acker to open the front door. Saying that Acker was annoyed by the interruption would have been an understatement. He had to close his eyes for a moment and take deep breaths. Then he walked towards the wall without slowing his pace so it looked like he was going to hit the wall, but a part of it opened and Acker walked through it and up the stairs that led to a door build on the floor/ceiling. Both doors closed, or so it seemed. The doors were connected to his power and his mind was on other matters. So, the doors closed, but not locked. The shapeshifter could go through the doors and go upstairs if they managed to get unstrapped from the stretcher.

Sasha only whined in response to the human's words, a sound meant to appease him for whatever they had done to deserve this treatment. In the presence of someone clearly so much stronger than they were at this point, they had no other choice but to let the dog's submissive nature take hold. A new voice sounded, different to the one of their tormentor, who now seemed frustrated about something. Sasha's eye fixed on the human, watching as he walked through... the wall? No, not the wall, a door hidden in the wall. Sasha seized control over the dog in a heartbeat. The human was gone; this was their way out. The straps were little of a hindrance to them without the human around to watch them; a shift into the smallest form of a brush mouse allowed them to wriggle free in a heartbeat, though it took Sasha a little longer to convince the mouse instincts that no, finding the nearest small hole and hiding in there wasn't the best course of action and no, neither was freezing in place. Even after getting free, the little mouse just wanted to bolt blindly, and Sasha knew that the first sign of danger would cause the mouse's terror to overwhelm them. The difficulty in controlling the rodent led them to quickly change to coyote form once they were free, and start towards the door, moving at a limp from the pain of the zap they had received. At the door they glanced around warily, realizing that they hadn't checked for any signs of a challenge or threat within the room itself, and wanting to check what was beyond the door before they ventured outwards. Acker was standing in front of the door, now open, facing his little brother. He wasn't really listening to what his little brother had to say " No, you can't come in" was all he replied with when his younger brother asked why they were talking while standing on the front door. Suddenly, his phone buzzed. Acker grabbed it " Nik do not check the phone while we are having a conversation, how many times do I have to ask you?" but the younger brother stopped talking when he noticed his older brother's expression " What's happening?" but all he received as a response was a " Go back home, now" before having the front door slapped in his face, the door locking. Only a hint of worry and urgency in Acker's tone hinted to Acker's concern for his little brother. The security cameras were showing that the Shapeshifter had changed forms, from a mouse to the coyote form from before. Acker wondered why the Shapeshifter kept changing into the coyote instead of a more dangerous form " How can I make you turn into your human form?" he questioned himself. He was annoyed that the Shapeshifter had found a way out of the stretcher, but in reality he also saw the positive in this situation. He could have a practical test in a controlled environment. Acker snapped his fingers and a metallic barrier covered the windows around the manor to make sure that the Gifted couldn't just jump out a window. Acker made sure that only the doors leading upstairs were open, and locked the other one with his power. The rooms in the house started changing. Zeus and Apollo ran to Acker's location and sit next to him.

All seemed safe, both in the room Sasha was leaving and in the stairway they wanted to enter. Ears flicking uncertainly they ventured upwards, claws clicking harshly against the ground as they sniffed the air. Fear made their pelt prickle, constantly alert for any signs of a threat. This seemed too easy so far. The human had really left the door open, with no guards? No, surely not. There had to be something else, something... more. Their lip curled into a wary growl, showing their teeth as they flashed another wary glance around at the top of the stairs. Even if the doors didn't open by themselves, they had no need for their human form to do so; they had learnt young that a canine could easily open most doors by either using their paws or, in some necessary cases, their teeth. The latter was uncomfortable, sometimes painful, but it was a technique Sasha had perfected over the years since finding themself as just another dog on the streets. They shook the thoughts away, hesitatingly looking around again. That human won't let me escape so easily, I know it, they thought bitterly, recalling what they had learnt shortly before their capture. Human-yet-not, that was what other animals called humans like the one holding them captive - like they would have called Sasha themself, if they ever learnt of Sasha's human form. Though Sasha wasn't sure what exactly it meant for this other human, who certainly didn't seem to have the same ability as Sasha, they knew it meant trouble. Shaking the fear from themself, they passed through the door at the top of the stairs, and began making their way down the next corridor, keeping their body low to the ground like a cat. Perhaps a feline form was better-suited for this, but for now, Sasha wanted to remain a canine, their more familiar, and easily controllable type. Nicholas Acker Villin

There were security cameras everywhere in the house, but the rooms kept changing, so the camera might point to somewhere useless like a wall when before was pointed at a living room. However, one of the cameras was pointing at the hallway where the Shapeshifter was. Even though the rooms in Intruder Mode changed randomly, Acker could still will a specific room if he so desired. He let the hallway the Shapeshifter was in change randomly because this was a test, so he wanted to check how the Shapeshifter reacted to sudden change in the environment. The rooms changed smoothly, as if the rooms slid effortlessly. Meanwhile, Acker willed a specific room in front of him. The door was unlocked and Acker stepped in. It was an armoury. There were shelves with weapons and ammunitions. These weapons could only be used by Acker or his assistant thanks to a chip controlled by his power that deactivated the weapons if used by an unauthorized person. Acker felt like Lara Croft with his double tranquillizer pistols and a backpack filled with tranquillizer darts, well he jokingly went for that look specifically, but no shorts. Acker got out the armoury, which locked automatically as a security feature, and checked his phone again. The camera wasn't pointing at the hallway anymore, but at a new appeared wall that had cut off the hallway at some point. He waited for the security cameras to alert him as soon as the Shapeshifter came back into view.

Sasha was about to start down the corridor when the walls began to move, shifting as easily as Sasha themself shifted until suddenly they found themself in a completely different-looking room. The change had made the coyote jump, leaping backwards only to find a new wall behind them, blocking their retreat. Okay. This was creepy. What kind of human lived in a changing den? Well, they'd already known this human wasn't exactly normal, probably not even sane, but still. This whole thing was weird and Sasha - and their coyote instincts - was detesting every single second of it. The uncertainty and fear was making Sasha's stomach flip, but they forced themself to calm down so they could proceed forwards. Another door. They huffed softly, rearing onto their hind legs to open this one with their forepaws, their paw pressing the handle down and letting them through with ease. A long corridor stretched before them and, instead of creeping cautiously as they had before, Sasha now sprinted down it, wary of this corridor shifting as the last one had. Are all human dens like this? I never want to be in another and find out!At the end of the corridor Sasha paced with a whine, sniffing beneath each possible door in search of any fresh air. Fresh air meant a way out, after all, and that was all Sasha was after. But even as they searched, they also kept their nose keen for any signs of fresher human scent, the warning that their captor was back to try and reclaim his prisoner. He won't get me so easily again... I hope.Nicholas Acker Villin

A door opened in front of Sasha, a door that led to a room filled with water. Yes, basically a huge room that was a pool. Meanwhile, walls suddenly cut Sasha off from both sides leaving them only with the pool-room as the only available option. Acker used that room to swim/train, exercising helped him think, sometimes he danced while waiting for lab results. Like he was dancing right now when random music started playing around the manor. It was instrumental rock music, although it could switch to a random track at any moment. Acker was hectically dancing down a hallway, letting the music take over him. However, the Lads were searching and sniffing for the Shapeshifter. Suddenly the hallway shapeshifted, a wall cut Acker off behind him, a door appeared in front of him. The door opened to the pool-room, but his eyes fixed on the Shapeshifter. Zeus and Apollo were at Acker's sides. Acker grabbed his double pistols and pointed them at Sasha "Shift into your human form, let me take some samples, and I'll let you go" he proposed "There is no way out of here unless I will it" he wasn't lying.
However, was he really going to let them go? After all the Shapeshifter had seen his face, they could lead the police to Acker. Those could be legit doubts. First of all, if Sasha did that then Acker would retaliate, but even so he would deal with that obstacle somehow, Acker got an odd sense of excitement when facing obstacles. Like he was excited right now, he wasn't wasting this opportunity.

The appearance of the pool startled Sasha, who until this moment had never even dreamed there could be such a thing as a giant, indoor body of water. They ignored the music, their senses telling them it was no serious issue for them, instead warily approaching the water to sniff it. Their nose wrinkled with disgust. It didn't smell even remotely drinkable. Why would humans keep undrinkable water in such a large amount? It was a ridiculous waste. The appearance of the human behind them made them jump and spin to face their captor, teeth bared in a nervous snarl. Their nose twitched as they sniffed the air, unsure what the human was planning with those... whatever they were he was holding. Pistols were new to Sasha, and they weren't aware of the danger such weapons could pose. It didn't look like the bite-stick that had been used on them earlier, so for the time being they turned their attention to the dogs, judging them to be the greater threat. Human form..? Not a chance, Sasha thought, feeling sick at the thought of shifting into such a weak form in front of a threat. They glanced again at the water. It wasn't drinkable... but could they escape by swimming? The water didn't seem to lead anywhere but surely the dogs would struggle more than they would, right? And humans weren't really built for swimming, either. Their mind made up, Sasha spun and launched themself into the pool, shifting into an American mink in midair and plummeting to the bottom of the pool. As a mink, they knew they could hold their breath for roughly five minutes before needing to surface, and they made the most of it by beelining for the far end of the pool, as far from the man and his dogs as they could get. Acker stopped his dogs who were ready to jump into the water. Even though they were machines, Acker had made them waterproof thanks to his power. The reason he stopped them was because the Shapeshifter was going to be faster anyway. The water would impede the darts, so shooting was useless. Acker put the guns back in their holsters and leaned against the door's frame while letting out a long and exasperated sigh. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms while observing the Shapeshifter getting to the other side of the pool " Tsk...I'm gonna have to clean the pool, I'll send you the bill!" he yelled at the Shapeshifter, he was being sarcastic even though his tone was serious. Some mechanical noises came from around the pool and then a hole opened in the far side's wall of the pool, the side where the Shapeshifter was. A sudden current sucked the water from the pool to a narrow river bed that led to another room. It was a garden, not an outside garden, but a room turned into a garden. Usually, there would be big windows covering the walls and a round skylight, but the windows and the skylight were covered by that metallic barrier. Acker didn't use the garden as a Zen paradise, it was for research. Right now, there were birds around the garden, robotic birds that looked like the real deal. Acker was testing the birds to check if they were ready or if there was something to fix. The river circled around the garden, but the birds were more interested in the animal in the river. An eagle saw the prey in the river and went after it with its talons.

Sasha didn't hear the shouting from the human, the water effectively making it almost impossible to pick up any sound from above the surface. What they did notice was the sudden appearance of the hole, and the sudden current it created. Sasha yelped beneath the surface, trying to swim away, but a little mink was never going to be very good at fighting a strong current and they found themself swept through the hole into the unknown beyond. They surfaced with a cough, dragging themself towards the edge and looking around nervously. A new room, but away from the human. It looked something like some of the gardens they previously hunted in, complete with birds, though Sasha was certain these birds would be about as natural as everything else in this nature-forsaken building. Many of the birds seemed curious in the new creature in their midst, and Sasha instinctively shifted into their bobcat form to defend themself; the coyote was not as good at fending off large birds, lacking in claws. The shift was just in time as they felt talons close just above them, their attacker having apparently been confused by the changing shape. Sasha puffed out their fur and whirled with a battle yowl, swiping claws down the eagle's body with a furious spit, before following up with a pounce aimed to allow them to bring the bird down and sink their jaws into its neck in a killing bite. It was a practiced move; Sasha had had previous run-ins with real birds of prey when testing out prey forms, and the bobcat was a natural bird hunter, if not normally for birds so large. Not for the first time, Sasha lamented the lack of a larger predatory form. Nicholas Acker Villin

The Shapeshifter killed the eagle, there was no other way to put it really. The eagle stopped moving and something that looked like blood drew from its wounds. It was red, but it was something more like oil than blood. The other birds flew around, away from the bobcat. An in-wall door opened, the walls were covered in vines or other flora, so the door had to open outwards. Acker stepped inside and witnessed the death of his eagle, although his robots never truly died because he could fix them or build them again. However, he still felt annoyed towards the Shapeshifter for having to fix the eagle later, but he was grateful to the eagle for doing its job. Acker moved his arm up in a fluent gesture. A moment later, the birds stopped flying around frantically and perched on the trees' branches. It was quiet now. No more fluttering of wings. Only the sound of the water flowing in the river remained. That and the Shapeshifter. Acker was holding his guns again " I get it...you can't trust me, mea culpa" he comically pointed to his chest in a theatrical display of fault " But I wasn't lying..." Zeus and Apollo were nowhere to be seen " ...there is no way out" however it didn't mean that the Lads weren't around " You can probably verify that I'm telling the truth with your Spidey-senses" could the Shapeshifter even turn into a spider? " We'll have to do this over and over again...days will pass...I will miss meetings, clients, my assistant will wonder what the hell happened to me, come here to check on me and notice that there is something wrong, the house is in intruder mode and..." Acker was saying that sentence very fast and had to stop to take a deep breath. " So, let's cut this short, shall we?" Zeus and Apollo were hidden and ready to attack the Shapeshifter if the Shapeshifter attacked first " Turn into your human form, let me collect some samples and you will be free to go" Acker had his arms down on his sides so the guns were pointed at the ground, however he was still holding them in case of self-defence. There was enough distance between them considering that Acker and the Shapeshifter were on opposite sides of the garden and there were trees between them. The birds were also ready to attack the Shapeshifter all at once. Let's just say that the Shapeshifter was outgunned, or at least it seemed so. @sasha

A low growl rumbled from Sasha's throat as they pawed the 'dead' eagle, grimacing at the oily taste in their mouth, spitting several times to try and remove it. The human's voice made them turn with an arched back and a hiss, ignoring the birds, focusing only on the major threat in the room. The mention of spidey-senses confused them - did spiders even have senses? Sasha wasn't really sure, having never tried to shift into anything other than a mammal or, on one terrifying occasion that had ended in a crash landing, a bird. Flying, it turned out, was difficult when you hadn't learnt how to do it from chickhood. But they had learnt from their brief attempt to escape that getting out really was going to be difficult, if not as impossible as the human was suggesting. Again they glanced around the garden. The birds seemed far too alert, and they could guess that the birds were about as natural as the one Sasha had just killed. One hadn't been too difficult, but Sasha knew the entire flock could be harder. There was no sign of the dogs, but Sasha suspected they would be close by as well, and they were two beasts Sasha did not want to get into another fight with. And then there were the... whatever they were that the human was holding. They hadn't seemed threatening, but now Sasha had learnt, and they doubted the human was carrying them around just for fun. But to shift to human form... It was extremely rare for Sasha to even consider it. In fact, they were pretty sure the last time they had used that form had been just over a year ago, when they had found a pup trapped in one of the human food-bins, and needed to use their hands to open it and rescue the pup. They hadn't let any human see their human form since the day they had arrived in Los Eurosia, over eight years ago now. But looking around, Sasha could see no other option. The human had won, and even though Sasha was in bobcat form, they could feel the instinct of a dog screaming at them to submit and obey, desperate to avoid any further attacks. Their body shook as they reluctantly obeyed the command, shifting from bobcat to teenager. Their pale skin was dark with dirt from a life spent on the streets, their black hair tangled and filthy. The clothes they wore were torn, muddy and ill-fitting, meant for someone both younger and smaller than they were now, and they looked underweight and a little sickly from a poor diet. Even in human form they crouched on all fours, trembling, staring with their single wide eye at the human with a clear look of fear, and they repeatedly clenched and unclenched their fists; instinct drove them to it, as had they been in bobcat form they would have been sheathing and unsheathing their claws out of wariness of an attack. The teenager did not speak any words, only giving a soft, nervous whimper. Nicholas Acker Villin

Acker observed the change. Finally. The human form was a teenager who looked like worse for wear. He let out a small sigh while putting the guns back in its holsters. He felt victorious and his brain started thinking about the fact that he needed to clean them up and started wondering about the samples.
"You can shapeshift clothes...How?" Acker put the glasses back on and started scanning the human's face "Can you speak? What's your name?" he crouched next to the human "You need a bath and new clothes, I can provide those things for you" the human looked homeless "Come on, we have to get back to the lab, collecting samples won't hurt you" he wasn't lying, all the samples could be collected without pain or just little discomfort which wasn't pain.
His glasses had finished scanning the human's face "The floor will tremble in a few seconds, nothing is wrong, it's supposed to happen, do not panic" Acker informed the Shapeshifter because he didn't want to deal with an eventual freak out. The floor trembled a little. It only lasted a few moments and once over there was a door on the floor, it looked like a trapdoor, the same that led to the lab underneath the house "Can you walk?" the trapdoor opened waiting for them to enter.
Acker's tone was very matter of factly "I will not hurt you, collecting the samples won't harm you" he repeated once more "After you" he gestured with his arm towards the open trapdoor.

//Can the glasses find out her name and surname from the scanning? What about other info? If not then I'm just gonna write that her face has been logged in the system so that he can find her again in case any cameras record her face (I hope this makes sense lol)//
