Ditto has to be on Noah’s team for obvious reasons, and the rest of the team would mostly be Dark types because he’s EdgyLikeThat™

Every ranch needs a good farm dog, so Roger's got Boltund to zip around and let him know when there's customers waiting at the front door. He takes his role as guard dog VERY seriously, but he's a bit too hyper and eager and gets into a lot of predicaments. The rest are basically a given. Gogoat is special tho because he's my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE OF ALL TIME. Swellow can be Roger's eyes from the sky, tattletailing on anyone trying to stir up some trouble. Swellow and Boltund probably get in all sorts of scraps, jealous of one another and always feeling the need to vie for Rog's attention (mostly by causing mayhem). And then there's Sylveon, who just has to be on the team as a fellow empath. 

[Grace Gatsby]

Darkrai / Beedrill / Roserade
Tsareena / Serperior / Starly

Darkrai is her main guy since he has the ‘dark void’ move. Beedrill and Roserade are poison types and Grace is toxic so she relates, Tsareena and Serperior have a snooty vibe that she identifies with, and Starly was picked up because it looks like a bit like a shrike c:

[Dane Wayland]

Honestly, Dane is a loose adaption of an OC I made for a Pokemon site long ago loooool. So coming up with his team is easy lmao~




Twyla (Bisharp): Dane's father, Antonio, owned a whole lot of super well-disciplined, pedigree-bred Bisharp/Pawniards. Dane got one as his very first Pokemon. Twyla was no-nonsense, "battle-battle-battle"/"fight me now", and would frequently disobey Dane, running off to challenge everyone. He knocked some sense in to her very quick and she became quite obedient. Always cold, always watching, always sharpening her blades and ready to act. Never held back once against anyone, even her teammates during training/sparring. 

Snowcone (Houndoom): Dane got Snowcone when she was an egg. Her mother died protecting the egg rather than her Pokemon trainer and Dane had a huge scar on his arm from her. He made sure to show Snowcone the scar and told her about her mama to make sure the dog grew up strong and fierce just like her. She started out as an excitable, dopey puppy who just wanted to play. Dane was a bit harsh with her at first, but when his mama saw him being mean to her, she smashed a teacup against the side of his face and stole her away for a couple of weeks. When she came back she was surprisingly more obedient, (when Dane found out it was likely because she'd been hanging out with Antonio the whole time, he was super pissed off). But by the time she evolved into Houndoom, she was obedient and took orders and was a great Pokemon that Dane loved. Able to be fierce and unflinching, but would drop into goofy dopiness when Dane allowed it. His most trusted doggy. 

Jacuzzi (Swampert): Dane stole the little mudkip from some dude he was beating up. Jacuzzi never forgave him for this and vowed to kill Dane once he evolved into a Swampert. (Twyla caught on to this but never acted upon it, interested in seeing it play out.) Dane himself was rather aware of Jacuzzi's hate toward him, but trained him up regardless and got him evolved and by that time, Jacuzzi realized he had grown to actually enjoy Dane's bloody work and probably never would have evolved with his original owner. He realized that the hate had fueled him, motivated him, and that this was his life now and he was content. 

Firo (Braviary): Caught in the Wild by Snowcone. They became super fast friends and Snowcone would always be super pouty when Dane fought double battles without pairing up Firo and Snowcone. He was a freaking beast man, OHKOing everyone. Hustle/Defiant/Brave Bird ftw. Dane loved him (but not as much as Snowcone).

Luck (Gogoat): Did I mention I love gogoat? Hhhhhhh. Dane acquired Luck in a shady deal. He was supposed to be the Gogoat of one of the people he'd been hunting down for a long time, but it ended up just being a skiddo stolen from a ranch and fed a bunch of rare candies while stuffed in a crate. The whole thing was a huge set-up (orchestrated by Dane's father) to get rid of Dane, but he and Snowcone wiped the other guys out and they rescued the Gogoat. He was all scarred and missing fur and was a sorry sight. But Snowcone bombarded him with love and he became a vital part of the team.

Maiza (Druddigon): A useless and very dumb dragon. But cool-looking. Always got beat up and fainted pretty early in the fight. Dane was pretty convinced he was a lost cause and pretty much kept him around for intimidation value alone. But Snowcone was always encouraging.
