Felicity is best described as chaotic neutral. She’s great for those occasions that require copious amounts of alcohol, not so much the ‘go to’ for big heart-to-hearts. She’ll listen and do her best to offer insight, sadly she’s just very emotionally distant. She doesn’t process big emotions in a healthy way, which can also cause major issues with her Electrokinesis if she’s not careful.

She’s financially stable and has a passion for baking and books. When she’s stressed out, she bakes up a storm and sends the treats to her friends. And just like many petite females; her attitude far outweighs her size.

Felicity has lived in Los Eurosia for the last three years and she loves it. She’s a barista and baker in a local coffee shop, and likes to spend her free time in bookstores or bars.

Felicity has been here for three years, so it’s safe to say she should have a few ‘go to’ friends, but she most definitely is not the friend you call for sensibility in a crisis. She will be right there with you dying your hair purple at 3am with ungodly amounts of alcohol. But she’s also the friend who’s waking you up with a nice breakfast because she couldn’t sleep. As long as you can navigate the chaos, she’ll be your forever comrade.


- - ANTAGONISTIC

Let’s just be honest; she’s just not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. Felicity can act careless or reckless when it comes to heightened emotional situations, and she really doesn’t handle expressing her own big emotions in a healthy way. She also takes way too much joy out of using her ability to inconvenience people if she thinks they deserve it.


- - ROMANTIC

Romance hasn’t ever been a big focus for Felicity, but that’s because she’s polyamorous as well as bisexual. And while there are strides being made for the poly community, not everyone is as comfortable with it or as open about sharing those feelings. Sometimes she wishes she could have lived through the 60’s.


- - PLOT HOOKS

• Felicity has a ten month period of time in her early teens that she can’t remember. She’s not sure how, but she thinks her grandmother might have known someone who can manipulate minds, particularly unwanted or harmful memories. Felicity doesn’t know what happened, but she fears it has something to do with her father’s death. At first this mind tampering seemed harmless enough, but in the long run is causing Felicity issues with properly controlling her ability. It would be cool to explore befriending someone who can help her get back those memories, or someone who knows someone who could help her.

• Being that she struggles with her ability and control, I can see her needing healthy ways to use her electokinesis so she’s not causing blackouts or ruining her cell phone and laptop on the daily. Ideally, I’d love for her to find someone she can either use her ability on, or someone who can direct her to a more healthy output when it comes to her ability.

• Felicity is on the local dating app and constantly in the bars drinking until she’s ready to blackout. She needs a friends with benefit or two, male or female (or both 😜)

Okay so, first of all, I'm buzzing. For lack of a better way to say this, these two seem made for each other.



Second of all, I've gotta preface this upcoming WALL OF TEXT with the warning that: I am so terribly slow rn. ;v; I'm trying to get back in the flow of things and am hoping, soon, that my creativity and ability to write cohesive posts will return and be quicker. But with work and all, I'm fated to only be able to post on Fridays & weekends nowadays. And I'm lucky if I've got any writing juices left to me when the weekend finally comes lolol.

BUT NONETHELESS, HERE WE GO. THIS WILL BE AN EXCITED AND VERY RAMBLY MESS.

Tawny's a memory manipulator. So, right off the back, she can hit that plot hook of yours dead-eye. Additionally, it seems that Felicity and her are very similar when it comes to relationships (platonic & romantic alike). So I'm just gonna throw a couple of angles your way and see if either of them particularly appeals to ya. If not, totally cool, we can figure something else out! Or just say, ew, Tawny no, go away, and I can throw someone else at you lmaoooo.

a) Tawny could be the person who Felicity's grandmother used to erase those bits of traumatic memories. I think, if we went this route though, that Tawny probably wouldn't have been too big of a friend in Felicity's life. Probably kept her distance. Or she could introduce/have already introduced herself as more of a fleeting, fair-weather friend just to make sure she was doing alright afterward. If she can realize that Felicity isn't coping well with the memory loss and there are some (not good) side effects, Tawny would feel really guilty about that. Perhaps, down the line, guilty enough to reveal her part in it, if that's something you'd like to happen.

b) Tawny wasn't the person who blocked out that chunk of Felicity's life. Maybe they're already friends? I think they'd make great friends. Tawny would love to have someone she can run around with, party with, distract herself with, without a whole lot of heavy, emotional investment. Because friends who pry and are super concerned when Tawny's going through something will very much get ignored and stonewalled until she's through it. But if Felicity is someone who won't badger/pester/ask about it/make it a big deal and just wants to have fun, then she's probably exactly the type of friend Tawny would turn to to blow off the steam and be brought back to life with. (In fact, I referenced a barista/baker friend of hers in this thread here and it's kinda exactly this lmaooo.

If you wanted, they could even have slept together or be known to sleep together occasionally when they both are lonely or get too wasted lolol. Totally optional, though. It wouldn't be romantic in any case, just some harmless fun between friends (which Tawny has always preferred, no need to be weird). Tawny's got a weird thing happening with Noah right now, so I'm not totally sure she'd be willing to start new or continue existing situationships atm. (Though it's entirely possible she will seek someone out just to ruin whatever her and Noah got going on anyway, especially if they hit a snag. Because she's just that type of self-sabotaging, desperately-flailing sort of gal when it comes to real relationships. That'd have to be something I ran by with Mirror though.)

Anyway, if we went this route, perhaps Felicity would eventually share with Tawny about the missing memories?

Also... Tawny's a Daddy's Girl, too. She never knew her mother, either (not really). Her and her father were BFFs growing up and he died a couple of years ago. It's something she's both never really "gotten over" or let herself feel too incredibly much about so she CAN "get over it". It just kinda happened, he was older and it wasn't surprising, but she's not let herself really embrace it in such a way as she probably needs to at some point. I don't know if they'd ever talk about their fathers or not, being as they are, but I could totally imagine them getting waaaay too drunk and having a good cry about it at some point (if that even interests you at all lmao, it's just something they share in common anyway).

c) They don't know each other at all lmao and Felicity could be the one to seek her out. The aforementioned Noah, Mirror's character, is the only PC who really knows what Tawny can do right now, though, so unless Mirror wanted to throw him at Felicity first (or vice versa), then she'd have to learn from someone at the Sector. None of Tawny's friends even know about her powers.

I honestly haven't thought whether or not Tawny would be able to restore memories or not. If she was the person who erased the memories, she would obviously know (in very great detail) what exactly happened. But if she wasn't, I wonder if she would be able to even see those memories at all? Maybe if she wasn't, the person who manipulated the memories didn't erase them, but covered them up in some way instead, and Tawny can still see them even if Felicity can't. Not sure. Whichever way, maybe it's something the pair of them could tentatively experiment with (given Felicity is open to it down the line). It would give me a reason to flirt with purchasing a Power Upgrade for Tawny. Either restoring/transferring memories she erased if we went the (A) route. Or maybe... idk... taking someone WITH her when she's seeing into people's heads if we went the (B/C) route. Or, alternatively, Tawny could just see what happened and only be able to TELL Felicity what happened (or maybe try and protect her by understanding just why her grandmother wanted it to remain hidden, and only reluctantly having the truth coaxed out of her).

Hello! Welcome to the site c: First I should give a heads-up that like Rinse my posting speed is all over the place atm and tends to be more weekly than daily~

Kinda carrying on from what Rinse suggested above, I have a few ideas depending on if Felicity & Tawny already know each other. If these don’t appeal to you, no worries at all!


If Felicity and Tawny are friends:

Maybe Felicity has seen Noah’s drunken selfies on Tawny’s phone and recognises him in a public place. Could be at her work or a library for a calmer interaction, more of a curious back-and-forth like – ‘How do you know Tawny?’ ‘How do you know Tawny?’ – or she could recognise him at a bar/club for something a little more chaotic where drunk!Noah would gush about his fav girl and Felicity could be like ‘Yikes… calm down dude.’

Alternatively, one of Noah’s plot hooks involves him helping someone get home when they drunk-dial him by accident. Maybe there was a mix-up and Felicity somehow accidentally copied his number from Tawny’s phone to hers? Perhaps she put it in her phone as a cab service lmao. OR it could be completely coincidental that she mistypes a number and calls him or he could simply pass her on the street and she could recognise him. However it happens, if she reveals she knows Tawny he’ll definitely want to help if only because he thinks it will earn him brownie points.


If Felicity and Tawny aren’t already friends:

Could do the same plot hook of Felicity calling him by accident, but he helps her because he thinks it’s funny rather than because of a Tawny-connection. Plus, if she electrocutes him he’ll be pleased to have found another gifted person he can pester for info and borrow a gift from.

Speaking of, Noah’s power is the ability to borrow other people’s powers, and he loves doing this. He’d be pretty hyped to borrow Felicity’s electrokinesis since it’s kinda one of his ‘childhood gifts’ that a few members of his family had and therefore he's pretty decent at controlling it, and he would be interested to hear Felicity’s grandma has atmokinesis since most of his family had that too.

Maybe they could meet when Felicity is having difficulty controlling her powers? If her electricity hits him, he can then temporarily steal her gift and stop her from causing any further damage to herself or others. Maybe he could try to help her control her gift (which is ironic tbh, usually he's the hot mess who can't control powers) and maybe someday she could tell him of the gap in her memory and he could think about introducing Tawny to her (or think about borrowing Tawny's gift so he could investigate by himself - though that route would likely be unsuccessful).

I am absolutely fired UP for these two to interact! In my head I can definitely see them being such a fun and chaotic duo! And the fact that she can play into Felicity’s plot hook is absolutely amazing! I’m having such a tough time trying to decide which angle we should go in from. I think B would be such a fun route. I almost went with A, but I love the idea of them being besties and after reading the thread where Tawny previously mentions befriending a bakery owner, I’m sold!!! That’s EXACTLY the type of person Felicity is. She not the type to get overly personal, unless she’s completely inebriated. And even then, it’s more light stuff and nothing super heavy. Plus, even when things get ‘heavy’ emotionally, Felicity keeps it minimal and just sort of tries to laugh or shrug it off. She detests big feelings. ew. Her idea of dealing with personal issues, involves drinking oh so much alcohol.

I love that both these younger women aren’t your typical ‘overly romantic’ or emotional gals! Felicity would absolutely flirt up Tawny and would love to have a fun friend that she occasionally hooks up with. No strings attached are her specialty! Felicity believes in free love and doesn’t think people are meant to be ‘tied down’ by any one person. So, she’s definitely out there having fun. I’d love to see these two getting close in a mutually beneficial way, perhaps that would lead to Tawny seeing the mental blocks in place in Felicity’s mind?

There are so many ways it could come about, whether by Tawny getting a bit curious, Felicity sort of ‘airing it out’ while drinking or just something she says in passing conversation. It’s definitely the sort of topic she’d just try to shrug off because it could get ‘too deep’ and she’d be tempted to gag.

I love the idea of her recognizing him as someone she’s seen in pictures on Tawny’s phone. (Maybe even photos on a snap story or two?). She’d definitely be willing to approach him and try to be like “you know my friend, and you seem fun; how have we not met?!” Especially if he’s up for drinking, she’s always looking for friends who enjoy alcohol!

Perhaps she took down his number because she was needing more friends to drink with, and upon her attempting to call for a ride home after a night of drinking, she calls him. Maybe she was originally going to call another ‘Noah’ saved to her phone, but then she saw his recently added contact and in her drunken state decided it was the best time to introduce herself.

So you have chosen... besties? YAAAAAAS! Tawny needed a girlfriend to pal around and get in terrible, mostly alcohol-induced trouble with, I'm so excited. I feel like they'd definitely be there for another when it's time to spiral, just usually not in the healthiest way. Definitely enablers. Stumbling home with broken heels, holding each other's hair back as they heave, coming over at 3am because one or the other is going through it, but is never like "yeah, sssh, let's talk about it, let it out" just.... instead, "I brought tequila, yeah, I'll totally cut your hair, let's goooo". Felicity sends Tawny a wild, obviously very wasted text message and Tawny never responds but fifteen minutes later, Felicity's doorbell rings and it's Doordash with what Tawny knows to be her post-drinking faves. XD Love them already.

And then the memory thing will be so interesting, too! Tawny probably really wouldn't want to tell her what really happened. But reluctantly relent. Then — this is just an idea — maybe if Felicity reacts super bad, Tawny actually erases the last five minutes where she told her? Because aaaaaaah. Just watches Felicity go blank as she forgets again, then immediately feeling really bad about it because then Felicity would still be struggling and it just isn't right to make her forget again and ah, the strife. B) I live for it.

Oh my gosh, YESSSSS! I’m LIVING for the vibes with these two! Tawny needs to be prepared to be Felicity’s taste tester for new items she might want to offer at the bakery too! “Get in loser, we’re going drinking…. Also try this new focaccia bread I’m playing with, it’s got sun dried tomatoes. I’ve also dusted with a combination of olive oil, garlic salt and sea salt. ” not to mention, Felicity will be so glad to have someone to cut up with over the one night stands that ended badly or hilariously! Someone who’s not going to judge her for not being more emotionally invested. gag
I love the idea of these chaos gremlins just enabling one another in the worst and most hilarious ways. 

Ooooh, that would be such a twist! Especially because Tawny would still be stuck with the knowledge of what happened if she felt the need to make Felicity forget again. I’m HERE for it! I’d be more than happy to start a thread, just say the word!
