Liam was officially Emie's favorite sibling (for the moment, anyway). He'd texted her a couple hours ago, asking her if she was interested in joining a small group his friend Timmy’s brother was getting together to play D&D tonight. It didn't give her a ton of time to pull a character together, but Liam promised it would be okay. He said he thought it was the first session, maybe the second, but they needed one more person to round out the party. He knew she'd been looking for a group, so she was the first person he thought to mention to his friend. [break][break]
Emie was so hype. As soon as she got out of class, she started working on a character concept, filling out the basics of a character sheet. She was throwing together a chaotic neutral gnome rogue. She had no idea what the rest of the party was playing, so as a backup she threw together a - much less planned out - chaotic good elf druid. It was good to have options, and to be prepared for anything. [break][break]
Once she had her character and back up character sheets pulled together, she put them in a folder and grabbed a notebook to keep session notes, then she started gathering the rest of the accessories she would need. A couple pencils, a player handbook, an extra sweater in case it was cold inside, a couple snacks, a full emotional support water bottle, and all of her dice. She was almost as excited about the dice as getting a chance to join a table. When Christian gave her the set of liquid cores for Christmas she hadn't imagined that she would get a chance to use them so soon. She tossed everything into a tote and went to the living room of her apartment to wait for Liam. [break][break]
Even though he wasn’t staying or playing, Liam was driving them over to his friend’s place. It was close enough to walk, but Liam and his friend were going to go out and meet a few other people. It made sense for them to go over together. Plus Liam could introduce her and she wouldn’t just be some rando showing up. [break][break]
Once they got to the apartment, Timmy led her to the room where a couple people were already set up. “Jimmy, this is Liam’s sister I was telling you about, Emie. Emie, meet my brother, Jimmy.” He looked towards Emie. “Liam and I are out.” With that, Timmy walked back out. [break][break]
“Is this spot taken?” Emie motioned to one of the empty chairs. “Naw, go ahead and set up where you like. We’re almost all here now.” Jimmy answered, and Emie moved to the empty chair and started set up while they waited for the rest of the group. [break]

Omg I’ve been so hype for this, then typed up most of it weeks ago and have been on the struggle bus since. Sorry it’s kinda short and awkward. Move her around, assume whatever, and let me know if you need me to change anything about the set up or give you more to actually work with. [break][break]
