A terrible night after dealing with Miranda leads to shots at a bar. Maddie looses control of her negation and, oops, she spills the beans about Gifted to Gavyn. They chat and hang out after Gavyn gets out of work (trespassing a bit in the process).

Watch stars go out tonight on sinking ground - with Ashley

Not all heroes wear capes. Ashley comes to Maddie's aid when some creep can't take a hint in the bar. She follows him out and pesters him until he talks to her, and they have a lovely chat and walk together. He's pretty cool, and reminds her a lot of Mason. Talking to him helps her work out some of her own family drama and feel better about the whole evening in general.

Maddie was supposed to be going on a blind date that Tina set her up on, but the guy stand her up. She runs into Tomas at the bar, and one thing leads to another and their true feelings get shared with each other. Of course, there is some misunderstanding along the way, but by the end of the night they seem to come to an understanding.

Brunch! Maddie and Tomas tell Mason about their budding relationship, or what they hope becomes a relationship. Mason has his concerns.

Tomas and Maddie have been seeing each other and things are going well. Tomas decides to come see her at work, but he gets jealous and upset when some customers get rowdy. He gets into a fight with a customer, then Tomas and Maddie take their own argument outside.

Maddie is having a normal night when her neighbor shows up on her fire escape bleeding out. She does her best to stitch him up and texts Mason for back up. After he's been looked over by Mason, Maddie helps him back to his apartment because he's stubborn. Because she's stubborn, Maddie insists on cleaning up a bit once Dane is sleeping.

It's been a long day temping at a doctor's office, and Genie stops for dinner on her way home. She gets a text and learns that her father has finally been successfully hunted, and changes her mind about getting dinner. On her way out, she literally runs into Esha, the nice resident from the office she was working at. Apparently Esha followed her, because she lost her wallet. They have a conversation about the complications of family, spurred on by several shots in quick succession.

Another car crash sends Emie into a panic attack. She's terrified of her friends, the paramedics or the police noticing her healing, and she is having flashbacks of the last crash she was in. She is lucky enough that she knows the officer who responds, and she learns that Christian is from a family of Gifted, including his cute paramedic brother Adrian, who happens to have the same gift as her. Christian and Adrian help get Emie cleaned up and calmed down, grounded back in the present and not her flashbacks. She opens up to Christian about why she's so panicked, and she's grateful he was the one who responded. This incident makes her decide that she's going to tell Melissa about her gift, so she doesn't have to ask Christian to lie to her.

She makes a mistake of wandering out for what should be a short hike, but comes across a rather aggressive coyote. Things have comfortable at Noah's place, maybe a little too comfortable. But it hasn't stopped the nightmares that Seth is plagued with. One night Noah lays down next to her while she's having another nightmare, and when she wakes up, she discovers him next to her, sleeping. [to be updated]

Noah tracks down Seth in the forest. Of course, she believes that he is a Hunter coming to finish what he started a year earlier. When she attacks him (for the 2nd time) he gets her gift. He chases her through the forest, and stabs her to get even. But she's small then him, she's losing too much blood... Noah takes her back to his car so he can keep her from actually dying.

It was touch and go, but Noah got Seth back to his place without her dying on him. He stitches her up and then locks her in a room until she wakes. Turns out this has all just been a giant misunderstanding, them both thinking the other was a Hunter. It makes sense when Seth really thinks about it. She attacked him first, two times. Now he's stopped her from bleeding out alone in the forest, and he's being really nice and caring for her. They talk a bit before she's exhausted and goes back to sleep.
